Killing traitorous members makes no sense as all a traitor has to do to destroy the mafia is say say what their names are. Then it is already too late to execute him.

@Niccea: All good points. My main problem is when power roles(Any mafia roles, detective, medic, etc.) betray their team.

Teamkilling is not allowed in my games.

Betrayal is not allowed in my games. Don't care if you tell someone your role but you don't tell your allies rolls to the otherside.

Loose Tongue: Like I said I don't mind what you tell about your role. Nor do I care if a disgruntal townie joins the mafia.

Social Loafing: If your not helping your hurting. I'll make this like inactivity if you don't do anything with your power role in 3 night actions I will give you a warning and if you still havn't done anything with your power role on the 5th night action you are killed off.

TFGM's interpretations of the rules.

Kills are arranged in a first come first serve bases. Therefore if two people declare that they're gonna kill each other, the one who sends in their kill requests first will succeed.

Protection does not last through the entire night. A person protected by a paramedic, bodyguard and other possible roles can be killed, if the protecter dies that night before the protectie is targeted. So if Medic A protects Citizen B and is killed by Killer A the protection is canceled from the point the hit for Medic A is recieced. The same goes for bodyguards and godfather's BC power. If the bodyguards die before Killer A sends in his action to kill Mayor A then Mayor A is dead. The reason is as follows, you can't protect someone if your DEAD. Medics can still save someone who was attacked before they sent in their action.

Actions take place as soon as they are able. So a horsehead if timed right can disable a players night action the night it sent. If Godfather A targets Vig A before he can send in his night action then Vig A cannot use there action for that night. Nor can they use anyday actions or vote. But if Vig A managed to send in his action first then he will lose his next day and night action.

The Mad Hatter is a clever one and is the only one to be able to kill the Paranoid single handed. Though at the cost of his own life.

Godfather can not use the horsehead on the same person twice in a row.

Detective can not look up the election votes.

During daytime, you appear normal, but at nighttime, you relive the horrors of your past. The first person to interact with you in any way, Hitman, paramedic, bomber, vigilante, die instantly. But the second time around, you will be the one that dies. But the detective will not die when interacting, as he is not directly interacting with you. Oh, and you think you are a regular townie.

One of the categories is the best Community project. Drunk Duck mafia qualifies as a community project but since it's been pretty inactive it doesn't stand a chance, unless we kick it up a notch.

There are free versions of photoshop, you could also use trrnts and whatnot and download illegally. I personally use a downloaded version of the cs4 thingy.

It's the internet, we all have the same chance of getting caught. You don't have to be in a foreign country to moniter someone in a foriegn country. The only difference is how long it takes to send the officials over. Also, I'm pulling out my top game idea next election…muhahahaha!

So many people pirate, that the chance of them singling me out specifically seems pretty slim. Even if I live in America.

I'd be lying if I said I paid for all the music I have on my computer, (most of it's from friends) I do not, however, use pirated software. There are many programs out there that are legally free that do just as well, if not better than the commercial stuff. Photoshop? Pff, I use GIMP. Painter? MyPaint. Maya, 3dsMax, or any of the other 3d modeling and animation packages that cost hundreds to thousands of dollars? Heck No! Blender all the way! Flash? Pish, learn java and javascript and use inkscape for the graphics.

What would be some good boosts for the mafia and the townies?

I have an interesting idea. I you want, in the beginning, which is before day one, you can put your role in a big randomized trade-off. The roles traded in will be mixed up and then handed to others. But you will not know who the other mafia members are before the trade off, only after the trade off.

I would like to know what sort of boost you are talking about Salsa. And would have to be done to earn it. Would it have to be something like. “Mafia kills 3 Townies in one night?”

Ok in the game I've been proposing, Townies have to capture a certain person while the mafia have to capture or kill the same person. That person is also trying to escape, so there is a chance that neither side gets a boost.

As far as boost go it might be something like +50% chance to live if attacked, an extra kill, or maybe the chance to find out someone's role for sure. Those would be one shots an probably wind up being used the next applicable cycle. An extra double lynch or pardon, An extra kill for the paranoid, or a new oneshot would be longer term and probably last the whole game. I'm trying to avoid game breakers, although that would provide extra incentive to achieve the secondary objective.

That's another reason I'm asking for help. I as the GM may think something's cool, but you as a player may think it's a horrible idea.

Also as a warning. READ all of the roles carefully when voting for me. I like to experiment.

I would like to know how this one person is decided. Is it totally random and can be anyone? Or will they know they are the one person. I ask this because the mayor almost always asks for roles and develops a list of suspects from there. And I don't see a problem with having a small boost once. If it were for the rest of the game, I would find it troublesome. But that is just my opinion.

Well it's actually a role. I could copy-paste the entire thing over here, but basically the game has 19 roles if I counted right. three of them are neutral. One is the psycho, one is the person the other has to find in order to meet his/her win condition. It's that last role that the mafia and townies have to capture or kill in order to gain the boost.

roles and other stuff here I'd also like to know if the game has any foreseeable balance issues.

MAFIA COMIC NOOSE!

This weekend, I'll be working on a summary of Legend of Townstonia. After that, I will make one very long comic that summarizes the past…almost 20. Games. This will include all games up until the end of July. After that will be any extras that were posted in order by game. Then I will go back to making the normal comic. Sound good?
