Purple haired space angel. Also rings on clothing are cool, but only because they're stupid.

In the meantime, Mutation asked for “A drawing of the silliest, most un-cannon pairing you can imagine out of any and all characters of Mutation's comics. The scene should be a cute, puppy-love Christmas setting.”

So when I went to her comic to check it out, the first thing that met my no-longer-virgin eyes was that “Katrina” had been slain and some little girl that looked suspiciously like my daughter was running through town in tears announcing it loudly. Being as my name is Katrina….

… I figured the silliest thing that would be noncanon on THIS story would be if I actually loved the b**ch who killed me. With puppy love and … I dunno… it's got love in it, right?!?!?

Also there's a huge psd file if you want it, Mutation. Big enough for printing cuz… I'll make up in spaz what I lack in direction.

i know its like calling the pot calling the kettle black even though the kettle strives to all ways improve and were each to there own with art

but adding shading would be leeps foreword for you also basic human Anatomy may help i know i suck at arms and faces

Also… are you the Pot or the Kettle? I think you're the Pot, but it seems like you think you're the Kettle.

If so, then you're probably right. You're the Kettle.
Some Kettles, however, are like Cauldrons, and actually resemble Pots. If this is the case, then there mightn't be any way for us to tell.
Keep me up to speed on this.

I can see why it was hard to do, this seems a very ambitious picture.
That is sooo wierd to see Shogun drawn completely differently but still entuirely recognisible. You obviously put a lot of effort into getting him right.
And there is Ki swooping around, with cool wings (though I do intend for him to put some clothes on in the story!). The Darsai have their snazzy purple energy swords too.
Awesome stuff, excellent, I love it and I am going to go now and post this on my forum so everyone can have a look at it (my collection of fan art is growing fast!)

xmas never works for me all my friends abandon me i normally never see them again one year my dad almost died and its always hot extremely hot that year i not that i bitter i like xmass its just well my child who frends were ether ghosts or grunda for the ps1

Okay, I think the main voice that's missing here is my own and I've been pondering most of the day on what to say here. Herio, I think the biggest problem is not that you gave a critique of my comic's simplistic art style per-se, but rather that you gave it in this thread. Critiques are always nice and stuff, but nobody was looking for that in here. If you had just posted the SS piece here and sent me a PQ on the side saying something along the lines of “BTW, your art's confusing me, check out these tutorials.” I would have gladly opened a dialogue with you and I doubt anyone here would have cared either.

All in all, I do thank you for the piece, I do thank you for the critique (It helped on this big piece I'm working on, and hit a block on figuring out a better way to shade it.) I also thank Froobius and Lycoris for sorta defending me out of free will. So with that out of the way, let's get back to what's important…getting the last half of the SS finished!

A gentleman as always bro. I know you have the Mighty Amanda, etc. but if you need help with deadbeats beyond that PQ and let me know.

I'll know more once the 20th rolls around. I know there's going to be one confirmed late completion, but other than that it's a mystery.
