So the site is back up and on a new server, but obviously the move has created additional bug issues, many of which we're aware of and are working quickly to resolve. Anyone who runs across a problem on the site, please post it here and I will continue to compile the list and forward it on to our support team.

Again, we hope to get these things resolved ASAP and have the site running smoothly again. I will continue to update the DD Twitter and Facebook as I learn more.

It's been really spotty for me the past ten minutes. It's gone from not loading at all, to loading REALLY slowly and links not working, to running just fine and smooth (and back to slow and broken again). It doesn't always take me to the comic when I click on a comic from the front page.

But it feels like somebody's back behind the curtain still turning knobs, so I may be speaking too soon.

I have noticed that my preloaded comics are all one day behind. For example, instead of loading a comic on the 17th, it loaded on the 16th. Not a big deal, but something I noticed.

EDIT: I just took a look at more of my comics, and Cubicle is completely screwed up. I cannot open its page, and some of the images (like the banner in my sig) are missing.

I find it really embarrassing how many “well the site feels completely broken so post about it here” threads we get compared to basically every site ever. I'm sure there is little Wowio could have done to make this go any smoother than it is, since transferring data from DD amounts to getting a beat-up car across country and hoping it doesn't break down.

Next time the following happens, I may take screencaps to help out. I've gotten several “access denied” errors when trying to read comics. In a few cases the extension /B/ (lol) will appear before a comic's name, and the message “this page is unavailable” (or something to that extent) appears under the site navigation and banner. For some time I couldn't get MyFavorites or MyComics to drop down properly, but that seems to be working now.

Well, besides the painfully slow loading time, like lefarce, I can't get to some comics, but it's a little different for me. When I try to access comics from the MyFavorites section in the right side of the site, it takes me back to the main screen with “not found” in the url (the main screen looks fine though).

Several of my comics are not working. I did notice a pattern. Their titles start with a D or a C. I'm guessing A-D titled comics are not working.

Same issue here, my comic will not load, getting a 403 Forbidden error.

Well they did say that they had issues with A-C, on their facebook page, I'm guessing that this is connected to that.

I was able to upload my comic today, but every time I try to view it, I am taken back to the Drunk Duck home page where I have to log on again. I also noticed that about half of my favorites can be accessed. The rest just give me a 404 error and says I am forbidden to view that comic on this server.

I'm not complaining because I know how migrating to a new server can be plagued by all sorts of bugs. I just wanted to let you know in the event no one else was having these particular problems.

I can't view two of my favs, arachnid goddess and deadfingers….when i try to view Arachnid goddess i get a message that says access forbidden…when i try to view deadfingers i am sent back to the dd main page

My comics are also getting the forbidden server error.

Yeah, I'm 403'd out of my comic…which starts with an A.

I updated Gelotology to test the functionality. Everything is very very very very slow (and timeouts associated with that), but it all worked properly. The image uploaded with no errors. Drunkduck Alerter, My Favorites list, and the “This Just In” list registered the update with no problems.

The only problems I found are two already mentioned. Comics beginning with A through D do not work. And the clock is off again.

As with many here, the two comics I have made that begin with D (Don Josh and Don Saviero) are currently non-functional. I can still look at all the information for'em (the add pages page, the overview page, and whatnot), but the actual comic pages themselves are not working.

My other comic, Final Blasphemy, seems to be working, though.

Yeah, as everyone else said, any comic starting with A, B or C gets a 403 error, but I notice any comic starting with D sends you back to the main page.

The A-D thing has been reported by us a few times, and they're aware of it. But do keep reporting stuff. :]

Currently the site is running pretty fast for me. I know they were disabling some chron jobs earlier to see if one of them might have been the problem, so they're tinkering behind the scenes anyway. Current time is 3am Eastern though, so that may have something to do with why everything is going about normal speed again for me now.

Unfortunately I don't have any kind of ETA for people about any of these issues. :I

Yeah, well…I don't. I haven't missed an update yet since I moved one of my comics to Drunk Duck, so this means I have to upload my comics elsewhere so my time isn't wasted making comics that no one sees.

Realized I posted in wrong thread (this 1st appeared in moan and groan), so opened DD in a second Firefox window, and it loaded like this:

Hate to beat a dead horse, but just want to say that yes, the problem with A,B,C and D titled comics is not yet fixed. It is 9:05 AM Central time where I'm at, and my comic “Coolstar Comics Master Files” just directs back to the main page. My other comic, “Unlimited Evil” which of course starts with a “U” is just fine.

I've gotten access to two of my favorites in the A-D range, but there are some new things I noticed:

-Yesterday, a new page of “A Loonatics Tale” could be viewed perfectly fine. Today, that same exact page is now a broken image.

-Whenever I try to access the other comics in the A-D range, instead of giving me a 404 like it did yesterday, it now says “comic not found” and boots me back to the home page.

I just wanted to say that my comic (beginning with a C) has returned. Thanks, Drunk Duck!
Charby the Vampirate worked, Cwen's Quest worked. So did Bloodman and Arkadis. Another ‘C’ comic, Cosmic Dash did not.
Jillyfoo's link to Demon Eater still took me to the front page.
I tried Death brigade from the front page and it worked.

So, it looks like things are starting to be fixed at least. I'll betcha it's not long before we're back in order.
