This is for all you technical people. Mp4 player technical people in particular. I can put movies on my lil mp4, but I don't know what file type. I checked the properties for its file type, but all it says is ‘video file’. What does this mean and is there a converter on the interwebz? Google is not helping me :(

to know the file type you need to show the file extensions (eg .avi, .mpg). To know what codec is inside the video file, use GSpot (common codecs are divx, xvid, etc etc)
