If you thought that Morrowind was huge and extremely awesome, part 4 is even better. I'm a 6 foot tall orc with a giant axe. In three hours, I killed afull towns of people then robbed them blind. This game rocks ass. It looks great, and plays great.

Go get it.

This game rocks ass. Anyone who isn't playing it should go and buy it for their xbox 360s. That is, if you're man enough to own a 360. Naw I'm just yanking ya, I've got it running on this computer. Its good stuff. I've been fighting in the arena (just found it actually) and have been having the best time ever. Its so fucking shibby.

The PC version is superior, especially if you hope to replace the god-awful face models later on. It still suffers from the typical trappings of a game that offers too much freedom (i.e boredom early on), but at least it's easier to figure out what to do this time around. First person controls in this kind of game are still awkward and the third person controls are a little worse. I've also noticed some funny glitches in places, like flying horses and spasming bodies and shader models that are a bit spotty in places. I also have a tendency to get stuck on the terrain in places forcing me to load my last save.

I played it for about half an hour on a 360 at Gamestop. I was really impressed with the amount of player customizability… it was like how I made people in Sims 2, only these characters were marginally more ugly and detailed.

One thing that bugged me is that the graphics didn't look very “next-generation” to me, with washed-out and somewhat repetitive textures. Admittedly, I never got far enough to get above ground, where it's possible that things improved. But I'd like to see what it plays like on a good PC.

Looked like a promising game though, from what I played. And I got to enjoy Patrick Stewart for just a little while.

Things are more detailed in the outside world, but they also tend to have some element of random design going on outside of towns. It looks pretty, I guess, but the world kind of seems generic wherever you go.
