For some reason that last point doesn't surprise me.
Please, please, you give me too little credit.

Back when personal computers were new and not connected to the world I had a Texas Instruments and remember typing over 100 lines from this stupid book just to watch a dumbass graphic called “Mr. Bojangles” do jumping jacks on the freakin' screen. For my little child heart at the time I thought it was the coolest thing in the world and well worth the amount of time sitting there typing each line…go to this line…do this…repeat…

As I look back at it…
I was retarded.

A friend of a friend had a powerful data recovery program and I was able to get it all back after a few days of trying, but I'll never make that mistake again. SO STOOPID >_<
Could you name the software? I might find myself in dire need of it.

My computer and I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die…
That's funny. I once had a man in life support in Reno with my computer until someone shot him.

I was wearing a big thick pure wool jumper, woollen fingerless gloves, a big fluffy hat made out of sheep fur, AND stroking a cat at the same time.

…why would you do all of those things at the same time, even without having the opportunity to destroy your hard drives? i kinda wanna see what this looked like. :P

anyway, i've had some awesome fun times with the first version of this computer. poor menchi's case was too small at first (about six years ago now), so day in and day out i would run my comp with the side panel off and the powersupply out and sitting on the top of the case. this opened many doors for my fellow nerdfriends to come around and poke inside my case while i was working on stuff. sooner or later, i eventually had to replace the CPU fan twice from my friends poking pencils into it to hear the “bzzzzzzzzzzz”. after two cpu fans, two different power supplies and a generic case fan all busted, i eventually settled for taking the big box fan from the corner of my room and leaning my open computer against it. this is whats known as “ghetto cooling.”
after that i got a new case.

-snuggles computer-

also, you know what else is fun? taking a professional-grade air compressor to your comp's heatsink after three years of constant dust collecting… was a bit hard to breathe for a day or two after that.
other than that, this comment is pointless.
