This tells the story of George Lucas as a college student, and how he found the inspiration he needed to create Star Wars. It is possibly one of the greatest spoof movies ever made!

That was good. But damn George Lucas is so not worth it.
Nice ending theme remix.

I remember hearing about this years ago and I never got the chance to watch it. Thanks for posting it! :)

If Lucas gets this pulled off of Youtube, he will have demonstrated beyond a shadow of a doubt that he's a complete douchebag. Not that he isn't already.

I hope it doesn't get removed, but I'm glad I saw it before it does.
Hey buddy, you should be a Russian Cosmonaut, and here's why.

Lucas probably wouldn't be the one to complain (in fact, the short won an award at a Lucasfilm sponsored event, so I doubt the man finds it all that offensive). You do realize this is a commercially available video, right?

LOL, you're contradicting yourself. Good job! lol!

Well, it's a nine-year old movie (seeing how it is a spoof of the 1998 movie Shakespeare in Love) and it looks like they added it to YouTube a year ago. …I think they're safe.

Did you notice Drew Struzan did the artwork for the movie poster? (He also did the artwork for the Star Wars posters) …Unless it was a Drew rip-off…in which case, it's a really good one.

How so? Youtube has content restrictions and has been taking down reported cases of video piracy on their site.

Not necessarily. Although I do admit that youtube hasn't really kept up with their end of the bargain on protecting copyright. They make it needlessly complicated to report things and restrict reporting to content creators. Unless Joe Nussbaum himself reports it, they don't do anything, and I'm sure he has better things to do with his time over at Dreamworks than write letters to youtube.
