Well, I'm new here so I thought I'd drop in and introduce myself. The name is Rob. I've recently started up my own webcomic and after careful consideration, I decided to go with drunkduck.com as my initial host and I'm pleased with the service thus far. I've been reading over some comics as well and I'm very impressed. So, I look forward to joining here at the forums and contributing to the community as much as I can.

You made the right choice there Rob this is a great site with great people:) I hope you enjoy it here on the duck, and find that you made the right choice as well. You had also better start figuring out what type of thorax pincers you have because Scarf will be along soon to ask you…

Welcome Rob. You've made a wise decision. Had you decided NOT to join the Duck, something (or someone) dear to you would have been smothered in coconut and horseradish and abandoned in the desert.

But uh… that won't happen. Please excuse me while I call up my contacts to cancel.

Thank you both! I can tell already that I'm going to enjoy this place. Been reading through some of the posts in the forum and looking over comics. This was just the kind of place I was looking for. There's a lot of good information for me to absorb and a nice friendly community. Thanks for the welcomes!

Oh great, what am I going to do with all this horseradish?

That is to say, hello there Rob! I hope you have a good time, and don't want to leave. There would be. . . consequences if you left.

And by then the horseradish would have gone all manky and it'll be even more unpleasant.
Hey buddy, you should be a Russian Cosmonaut, and here's why.

Hello robdizious, we are pleased with your service thus far but we've yet to hear anything from you on the subject of Forficula Auricularia. This industrious creature has been the subject of recent unprovoked and I believe unjustified attack on this very sub-forum.

Where do you stand robdizious? Will Forficula Auricularia find in you a willing supporter, or will you crush her callously underfoot you heartless, unfeeling swine?

Trout- Well, that is definitely a convincing enough argument to stay! :D

Elixia- Thanks! I can already tell I'm going to enjoy it here.

Ironscarf- I say….long live the earwig!!

long live the earwig!!
Fine sentiments robdizious, although sadly, she'll not live to see the following summer. Let's celebrate her short but productive life with a few more enlightening slides:

Sup man? (I only say “sup” because Amanda likes it when I do). I agree.. the site can be a little rocky sometimes but there are so many good artists and good people (and sea cow)… it's a lot of fun. Most of us, btw, are not as crazy or as clever as ironscarf but we try to please.

Cold Hot Cola has a Hot Cold effect on you…first all of your insides begin to burn horribly, then your whole body goes cold…due to your entire body shutting down and kicking the bucket….we all know what happens after that right…lets say that those who have to clean it up do not enjoy it…;)

Its a Splendiferus Drink that both stimulated the body and mind. (Not like redbull that stuff tastes like Piss) just one sip and you'll know the meaning of life. a full gulp and you will transcend your body's limitations. and its really good at quenching thirst. don't fall for there lies. The Cold Hot Cola is what they all want so they will try and trick you to get it.

so in a nutshell Cold Hot Cola is a refreshing drink that can't be beat.

so do you want some Cold Hot Cola?

Yeah. Revelations. When all life dies. I really wouldn't drink it.

It's lovely to see youfall off the stairs, breaking your skull in two.
