I haven't posted on the forums here so thought I would say Hello!! My name is Angela and I'm a music teacher, who also likes to draw. Not to terribly interesting, but thought I would say Hi! none-the-less!! Hope to meet some awesome people here!

Hi there, welcome to DD!

I play Oboe, Flute, Tuba, Violin, Erhu, and Dizi regularly but I play a few others every so often (like having to play them in class for my students)

Welcome, I think you'll find a bevy of chums here. I play the saxophone, piano, guitar, and harmonica. (My husband and I were highschool sweethearts and met in Band.) What grades do you teach? (When I taught I started with 4th and ended up teaching 7th; before thinking I could make a difference at an alternative program teaching kids that were banned from the regular population and were awaiting trial for criminal offences. Funnily enough, it wasn't the kids that made me go bonkers. It was the other “educators” and my horrible princi-(who was no pal.) Anyway, I ramble…welcome.

I teach Middle school 6-8th grade. I also teach private lessons, I have kids from Grades 3rd-10th in those. I so far haven't gone insane but this is only my first year at a school (the private students rock and I don't think I would ever get tired of doing those, lol)

And rock on Harmonica is to cool. I'm learning guitar, it kills my fingers (I play two other string instruments and the calisus (sp?) from those did not prepare me for acoustic guitar, lol)
