If you're here from Smack Jeeves, you probably know me as polar-north, but since Polar North isn't hosted here (and is NOT going to be hosted here), I figured it would make no sense to those who don't know me from SJ. So…er…hi! Nice to meet all of you! Of course, I haven't met all you yet…and, unless every single member of DD visits this post and responds (which is highly unlikely), I probably won't meet all of you.

At the Dumb Guys Convention (from Pearls Before Swine by Stephan Pastis)
Dumb Guy 1: Okay, who wants to play jump off the fifth foot balcony into the swimming pool?
Dumb Guy 2: Oh! Oh! I do! jumps off the balcony
SPLAT!
Dumb Guy 3: This would work SO much better with a swimming pool.

Meh you shouldn't have worried about it. When I first came here I've had the same feeling. But as I remember a saying from a movie I've never seen, “If you build it they will come.” Course I don't know what that has to do with this whole… Anyways welcome to your new other home.
