I had my first white-out experience before Halloween when I went into an AC Moore store. Fluorescent lights, white shelves, white paint, white stock boards. And “Winter Wonderland” playing the whole time.

No one can make me go back.

Been sick of it, I can't stand the two months after Halloween. Miserable traffic, crowds, and non-stop playing of Madonna attempting to sing ‘Santa Baby…’

“Urge to kill- RISING.”

No ‘cause I’m getting a $500 plus acoustic-electric guitar.

I think I can stand the annoying music for a while.

Not at all! I love Christmas(and holidays in general, but Christmas is my favourite). I love giving and getting gifts, going to the department store to pick out a new christmas ornament, and drinking hot chocolate, seeing all the lights downtown, advent calendars, building gingerbread houses, and all of that stuff.
I've known for months in advance what I was going to get everyone for Christmas…made myself wait until the beginning of November to start buying things this year, haha. : )

Where I live winter is freezing, miserable, and takes up 6-7 months of the year. I can't stand the cold, but when the first snow comes and I have to bring out my winter jacket, the knowledge that christmas is coming is what keeps me(and I think most people who live here) going. January-April I'll complain about nonstop, but I don't think too much christmas could ever bother me.

I hate the part where you need to be extra nice to everybody, as if being nice to them the whole year wasn't enough.

I really do hate the over-commercialization of it all espeically in freaking October when I'm trying to gore my house up.

The only part about Christmas that I hate, it the over commercialization. It makes the holdiday seem less about celebrating goodwill and more about spend spend spend! Plus retail stores keep putting their stuff for Christmas up earlier and earlier , its annoying.

I rarely leave my house so unless someone breaks in to decorate in candy canes and strands of multi-colored lights I really won't notice the holiday season is creeping up on me.

Whenever I do leave my little hovel and join the land of the living I do get pretty surprised at the vast amounts of red and green that attack everything. I guess I'm not so much tired of the Christmas buzz but more the fact that it's the same tacky decorations every year. I guess it'd just be nice to see some new decoration idea. Not the same tired inflatable Santa sleigh on the roof or mistletoe themed dinner plates. (Hilarious… cause isn't mistletoe poisonous?)

I'm just waiting for the friday after Thanksgiving when the no repeat oldies station I listen to at work goes all Christmas Music. They play everything so I'm not stuck listening to the Waitresses' Christmas Rapping every hour.

Ever listen to a station that repeats the same songs over an eight hour period? It's like a time warp. Isn't this song where I came in?

Christmas is the only day I can drink beer with a brandy chaser for breakfast and nobody bats an eyelid. Truly the most wonderful time of the year!

If they want to, they can remind me of that great day all day every day for 365 days a year. I think some of you need to take advantage of the true spirits of christmas.

I'm starting to get sick of Christmas, yeah :(…What fun can you have when you get to watch other people eat all the good stuff right infront of you, knowing full well that you can't have any of it x.x?

I would complain if I wasn't working in said department store for 7.75/hour…in the section that sells Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers.

I would guess they are either on a diet, allergic or lactose intolerant or something like that.

I think I've become a bit of a scrooge myself. I haven't even put up a tree the last several years. Christmas music in particular makes me cringe. Every store you go to it is playing in the background. You can't get away from it. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard.

If you hate Christmas you're either a stupid bastard or someone feigning edginess. “ugh, more like merry SHITmas, right???”

Get bent, the holiday season is rad. I'm burning some pumpkin candles, suckin' on a candy cane, and playing Donkey Kong and it feels great. Can't wait to get a fatass stocking full of candy, rip open some presents, and spend time with the folks. OH MAN WHAT A DRAG

Returns, the new one on the Wii. It's also the first wii game I've played where the waggle doesn't feel obnoxious and pointless. Goode game, 5/5

Need to put that on my Christmas list. If its anything like the original Donkey Kong Country for the SNES it should be nostalgia filled.

Christmas is not about trees or presents or jolly fat men in red suits or even some child in a manger but what all of those represent.
Family, love, cheer and good will to your fellows. It's not the corny songs that matter but the joy they represent.

As the spirit of Christmas Present observed to Scrooge: “The spirits of Christmas live not among men but one day a year but the entire three-hundred and sixty-five.”

To those Scrooges out there remember that those who do not seek out the companionship of their fellows in this life are doomed to seek it in vain in the next.

I could go on quoting A Christmas Carol all day. I used to be a Scrooge in my 20s and 30s but several insightful viewings of Alister Sim as Scrooge cured me of it.

Don't make me sic Tiny Tim Cratchet on you. You know that when he grew up he was six foot six and a professional bare knuckle boxer…

It is. But there is also a lot of new stuff to really keep it fresh and make it feel like an actual addition to the series rather than rehashing the same crap to sell people on a nostalgia rush. Basically they got it spot-on, you should give a go. Also every level really plays differently so that's cool too.

I HAAAATTTEEEE how early Christmas starts now. But more than that, I hate all the arse faced people that this holiday brings out into the streets and stores. Makes me want to go live in a cave or something.

I do, however enjoy Christmas day, as my wife and her family always spoil the ever living crap out of me :D
