In order to be able to edit your HTML you need to select the basic template first. When you use one of the pre-made templates it doesn't let you edit it. Select the basic template, then you will be able to do whatever you like with the html :)

How to edit a pre-made template:

If you just want to edit one of the custom templates, the best way would be to choose one, go to your comic, look at its source code, copy the source code, change your template back to the default template, paste in the copied source code and make sure you put all the special DD codes in there, like: the Add and the nav button codes.

You need to COPY the code, then MAKE YOUR OWN TEMPLATE, and PASTE the code down completly over the default template. It works. I've seen it work.

The black and white templates also use external CSS. You have to follow the link in the source code to the CSS file, copy and paste that into a text document, save it with the same name as the linked document (black_white.css) and upload it to your extras folder.

Alternatively, if you want to use the simple black and white themes, you can find all the latest code for them, including internal CSS, here at the bottom of the thread!
That's the code for the mostly white version, but you can easily change the colours by altering the values in the CSS at the top of the code.
