Seriously, what would you do if you had to do one?

Me, I'd make little comments here and there, start a few threads with funny titles, general “marinetard” things. I'd also bring back my comic penis and tell as many people on the forums as I could, because its a great comic.

How about you?

I too am planning a major comeback after christmas. I will just do things the same way I did the first time, only now my work will be far more violent and depraved for massive damage.

See I want to do an awesome Christmas adventure comic, one thats so shiny and original it involves jesus and robots. No webcomic ever has had the balls to use Jesus and Robots. Lol at my originality!

Perhaps a robot Jesus going on a quest to kidnap Santa Clause so he can use Santa's magic Christmas power to spraypaint the world neon green with horseshit?

That's an original idea for you.

You've got to add in refrences to video games for it to be really original, and also quote movies. Movies like Pulp Fiction or Snakes on a Plane, movies no one EVER quotes.

You could make it a robot Samuel L Jackson who is dressed as Santa on a space ship off on a quest to return Tom Cruise to Planet Doom so he can get the motherfucking snakes off his motherfucking sleigh and cover the world in shiny horseshit.

Along the way he'd meet Neo and team up with Cloud and Sephiroth. Plus there will be an adorable orphan who gets adopted by the Sammy J Santa at the end of the story.

It's a surefire win.

What I'd do is find a old used up room/studio and spend hours a day doing rocky style training. And then I'd piss off the biggest webcomic artist I can find and challenge him to a duel and defeat him thus putting me back on top

I'd do a sprite comic because everyone knows those all have hitcounts that go straight to the moon!

i'd sit there and beg people to check out my comic and start advertising it in everything i say

then i would pray to a variety of gods hoping that one of the gods would encourage a single person to leave a comment on my comic

yea sorry about that people, i saw a moment to do some shameful advertising, and did so.

so here's my real response.

I would get started on a comic and have a decent number of comics made out before i put them on the internet. I'd put mirrors of it on a variety of sites. Nightgig, DD, MAYBE comic genesis. Post on the forums, and make some friends.

Getting a comicspace wouldn't hurt at all either. It'd be a great way to get your comic to spread.

-Ozoneocean mod edit- you missed out the "http://" from your links you silly noob! I fixed them all for you. :)

This thread was funnier when it was just Rich and marine talking to each other.

If I were to make a comeback I would have to do it with a really great new webcomic.

Alas I am not so motivated to draw any more. :( I have like ten stories and some complete scripts even, but only half a sketched page…

ever.

There's no comebacks in webcomics, it's more like a recovery, say from a surgery or a stroke or a very rare illness. A few people will wish you well and then turn the other way again.
