Hmmm I don't know if your crazy for talking to yourself… i've talked to myself when I'm home alone during the weekends and sometimes usually to see if a story makes sense or if the history channel is missing a piece of a puzzle to a big clue.

I aways talk to myself. Mosly when I'm home alone, but I've had some people look at me funny. I usually talk to stuff, like, when I'm home alone and I'm cooking, I'll tell the meatballs they're doomed. Evil laughter and everything.
What Rage says works though, for acting out dialogue, I do that too. I use voices, too…

Ok, so I might be a little crazy. I prefer to call it creative though.

Talking to one's self is pretty commonplace. everyone does it to an extent.

But answering yourself from time to time shows signs of codependency, which is usually brought on by a sheltered childhood, or in my case, an EXTREMELY sheltered childhood.

Some times I talk to myself, but not enough to be a regular self talker.

In this world of constant commercialism being slammed into your eyeballs every time you open them…a constant barrage of 30 second sound bites pouring out of every electrical device…if a man doesn't check in with himself now and then for his own opinion, than he will most definitely go crazy.
nothing wrong with consulting your own concious.

Now…if someone is sitting in a corner, drooling on his shoes and talking complete jibberish to himself or anyone who will listen, that's loco.

At least you've talk to things I've given my dog a voice so he can talk back and boy is he mean. I even done it with my brothers when they insult him he insults back.

It depends really, if you're reading out stuff you've written or you're practising a speech or you're making up word games due to boredom then no. If you're holding regular conversations about the affect of classical music of empty syrup bottles with your kitchen sink, then yes, you probably are. Also check for imaginary lice crawling all over your body, tall men in white masks telling you to burn things, and rainbow coloured skeletons dancing the fandango to techno versions of American sit-com theme tunes.
Hey buddy, you should be a Russian Cosmonaut, and here's why.

I do more than talk with myself… I answer myself. I like to pose my questions aloud.

Hell naw. I've got three cats, and when I'm alone I talk to them in a Crazy German Scientist voice. I actualy call them differently, because Mr. Sneefles sounds better in that accent than Youpie. I forgot what I call the other ones though…I haven't done it in a while.

Constantly, it's the most intelligent conversation I can get.
And it's got nothing to do with multiple personality disorder.

Yes it does too…

No, I tell you… there is only me in this head, you others are only the result of an overactive imagination.

Oh… that's right… you keep believing that and we'll, oops I mean ‘you’ll' be ok.

Thank you.
NOw back to this conversation… don't worry, there are no sane people, only varying degrees of insanity.

That's right…

SHUDDUP! You don't exist!

OK, OK, geeze, what a grouch…

I talk to myself using mental telepathy.

Unfortunately, my ability to use mental telepathy is at a very infant stage… in such a way that I can only use that ability to speak to myself. :)

Usually I talk to myself only when walking through the neighborhood. Young kids throw beer cans and bricks at me and shout, “There goes that crazy old fool talking to himself again!” Hey, it's a tough neighborhood.

I get my revenge though. They become red-shirt characters in a story and get brutally zapped in some way. Mwahahahahahahaha!

You betcha, but sometimes it really helps to go for a long walk and work out story difficulties aloud. It's not bad exercise either.

Yeah, walking really helps to clear the mind. It's even better when you get lost and later you realise that you just accidentally set the groundwork for a good story.

The second paragraph however was the most pathetic thing I've ever heard

Yea. When I was Pushing Carts at my job,(Before I became A dishboy) I would think and even talk out what would go on in my comic. Those where best and worst Idea I ever came up with. God I miss that.

Sorry, this is the most pathetic thing I've ever read. On the upside, it means you're likely to kill yourself soon.

So do you talk to yourself or what? Jack Sparrow certainly doesn't.

He does in POC 3, but that is because he was stuck in his own personal hell. But I do on occasion when I'm trying to figure something out. And by what I meant by that was I will take the risk when I know something is going to work. (and did you even watch the video?)

I'm not watching a 10 minute video so that you can feel good about yourself.

If you seriously think you are some genius with powers beyond that of mortal men, go to http://www.randi.org/joom/content/view/38/31/ and apply for the JREF million dollar challenge. Become rich and famous for doing what nobody else can do. Until then, STFU, because I am sick of hearing about how special you are.

Anyways…I talk outloud to myself sometimes…well it's more like thinking outloud. Most of the time my conversations occur in my head though.
