Im a GREAT writer and a decent artist, just need to think of a plot that will work…

What's the basis for it, the characters, and is it from a specific series? Or when you say plot, do you mean that you are starting from scratch?

Sometimes it's best to go with what you know. (For example, the links kyupol offered up are interesting if you're into politics, religion, etc., but if you're not a particularly newsy bloke you might not find a plot there.)

What interests YOU? What have YOU experienced?

Picking up plot bunnies from other people may work excellently, but if you aren't really invested in them, you may not have the same heart in them and get tired of them eventually.

Another way to go about it may be to look at the things you like to read, and figure out why you like them. This can help you figure out the general strand you'd like to write in.

Princess Peach steals the Chaos emeralds thinking she can make a necklace from them but goes insane from their power so it's up to Sonic to defeat her evil empire and retrieve them.
