Interview by http://user.drunkduck.com/komix5
- Wow! You are so funny!
Well, that's not really a question… but thank you.
- Yeah!
…Yep.
- So what inspired you to make comic strips?
Well, my current strip, Addanac Shitty, is a parody of this horrible comic called Addanac City. So every time I read an Addanac City comic, I get immediate inspiration.
- That's pretty neato! Has the creator of Addanac City seen this comic?
Yeah. He likes it, I think. I dunno, he doesn't return my phone calls anymore.
- I'm sure he loves it.
Yeah, most likely. What's not to like about it?
- So what's your approach to making comics?
Like many of the professionals, I use paint. I find that paint is the best tool for the professional cartoonist like myself, because it produces a very high quality comic.
- So how long does it take you to complete a comic?
It usually takes about 5 minutes.
- Wow!
Yep
- That's impressive time. How long have you been drawing comics?
Well, I have 3 Addanac Shitty comics up, and it took 5 minutes each, sooo… I've been drawing comics for about 15 minutes.
- Wow! So you've probably learned a lot with all your experience?
Well, I don't like to brag… but yes. Cartoonists could learn a lot from talking to me.
- So do you have anyone you look up to when it comes to comic strips?
I admire that guy who draws Snuffy Smith for the newspaper comics. He's a genius. Family Circus, too.
- Cool. So before we wrap this joint up, I have a final question: do you have any plans in the future for your comics?
Yes, I do. Well, Addanac Shitty will come to an end August 21st. After that, I plan on starting an experimental comic. Anyone interested should check out my page often for news.
- Well, thanks for the interview.
