I dunno, I'm kinda hoping for a themed mafia. The narratives are a bit more fun to read when they're based on different ideas.

Compared to the previous 6 already normal mafia games.

Yeah… when you have a “normal” game all you can really do is go for more violence. Well, I did anyways.

I kinda like the idea of a robot one though.

We should just get rid of the game and just have a role-playing forum. We can even show pictures of us cosplaying!!!1

The themed ones offer more creative narratives and thus provide more entertainment.

Yeah, and you can make all kinds of funny roles like the magic cranberry and we can make a dozen retarded pictures of the magic cranberry and say lol all the time. Oh, and the magic cranberry can kill everyone in the game. Then we can say lol again because it was funny.

The themed ones are cool and all, but I would like to do a normal game now. We should totally flip flop back and forth between normal and themed, that way, everybodies happy! Eh? Eh? Good idea right? lol Yeah, I hate conflicts, so I try to make everyone happy! 8D

I agree with Inu. If all we ever did was themed mafia games then new players that joined in after mafia 6 would never have a chance to play the classic game. Besides, the tenth game is a milestone and I think that it would be a good idea to do the classic game. After MafiaX we can go back to theme and do a classic game on special occasions.

But Mafia X is such a cool name! I think it deserves something awesome.

If someone makes a classic mafia but with all the normal townies having killing powers I'd vote for that. I doubt anyone else will though.

Humerman ran for his life. He didn't know how long his attacker had been chasing him but he knew it started a little bit before he was mentioned in the narration. “Damn Narrator! You’re a Moron!”

He shouted as he made it to a four way intersection. He only had moments to realize the way he was heading was blocked by a man with a revolver. The man had an evil smile that made Humer sure he was crazy. Not wanting to go head first into a crazy man, Humor started to head towards the street to his left.

But another figure stood in the middle of that street holding a sword and shaking his head, as if telling Humer it was pointless to resist. “Give it up” the swordsman said. “Never!” Humer shouted as he tried to head in the opposite direction but like the other this way was block to him.

The figure had a smell of death about him. He turned to the way he had come to see the man who had been chasing him blocking the way. “What are you going to do to me?!” he screamed. “Isn't it oblivious?” the attacker said with an evil smile as he raised a knife up high into the air.

Humer braced himself for the blow just to be surprise at the sword that cut him in half. The crazy figure stood over the Humer’s lifeless corpse and shot him in the head. The swordsmen wiped his blade clean on Humerman's shirt. As he held it up it caught the moon light and shined.

yeah, that's true. So I guess it wouldn't really matter who you picked to be not killed. But to be on the safe side you should use some randomizing thing that i am sure is on the internet somewhere.

There's plenty of those around (randomizing thingies, that is). That's what most of us GMs use when assigning the roles.
