How much role playing can one do with mega man?
Isn't he just a little sprite then bounces up and down and shoots white pellets?
Or am I behind the times?

You forget that he could charge up his attack and shoot a really big pellet. Also, he could steal the powers from his foes and use it to shoot different colored pellets.
