I've heard some people say FF is safer than IE, but that's mainly because most attacks are still aimed at IE.

Come the day FF is used by 80% of people, then FF will be the one that the baddies are writing “exploits” for. And there'll be flaws exposed. No program's foolproof.

PS: I use FF almost all of the time.

Firefox, because the FireBug addon is the only tool you need if you're a website designer.

Firefox. I used IE for a while, but it made me want to claw my eyes out. Actually I prefer Safari, but unfortunately too many webdesigners apparently don't think it's necessary to make their stuff Safari compatible, so it's not really an option.

My wife uses IE, and I use Firefox, so that works out well for both of us.

I LOVE it that way. Flash is like… Well, it's better when you get to CHOOSE what shows up.

If you work in/use flash for so many things EVERY DAY, Flashblock is FREAKING HELL. I hate when it shows up when I present projects I've been working on, since I've already given a description and drumroll..

ME: “and without further adoodoo; I present MY FLASH PROJECT! *opens web page*”

IE'S INFO BAR : “DID YOU NOTICE THE INFO BAR?”

Makes me look like an idiot.

Plus I hate when I try to play a flash game and end up punching my keyboard because I think it's broken or something, when really the flashbock thing is on.

So, FIREFOX, FORKHEADS. SO SEXY. SO FLEXABLE. And it FREAKING supports TRANSPARENT PNGS (if you havent updated IE.) It always has.
My comics. Take a whiff!

I use IE out of habit and because its usually what I get with my windows.

The only experience I've had with FF was on macs. Someday I'll try it on my computer.

Info bar? Eh?

The flashblock that I use in Firefox and it's cousin SeaMonkey doesn't have the infobar. Just an icon where the flash should go and a transparent box that's the size of the flash element.

I really don't see an amazing difference between the two. Except as previously said Firefox is less prone to get weird problems.

So I use Firefox. Meh.

Opera.

Why?

Because I like a secure browser that doesn't use a quarter of the memory on a 2gig system after running 12 tabs for an hour.

I also use opera, except for signing on to my wifi account, i open either firefox or IE to do that, get online, then quickly close them and just use opera. I probably just have to modify a setting to be able to sign in with opera, but i've just gotten in the habbit of using one of the others to do that.

Absolutely 100% agree :)

I RARELY have less than 15 tabs open and I have only 512mb of memory. Been using it since version 5 and other than couple of minor quirks I can't complain :P

Firefox whenever possible. I use it for over 95% of my surfing.

If I had my preferences, I'd never use IE, (Aiiiieeeeee?) but some webpages are annoyingly IE-only. (bleh)
