Do you have anymore info on it Sub? That'd be nice…
The top pics just look like woollen gloves. The bottom pics though look like an unusual growth of toenail-like material randomly spreading. I suppose that can happen, just like unusual growths of hair. It'd help if there was more info though!

I wonder how he gets his jumper on over those spiky hands? You'd think it'd catch constantly… Hmm, definitely looks Eastern European…

it's thought to be Lewandowsky-Lutz dysplasia
Someone
Epidermodysplasia verruciformis (also called Lewandowsky-Lutz dysplasia or Lutz-Lewandowsky epidermodysplasia verruciformis) is an extremely rare skin disease characterized by the growth of scaly macules and papules, particularly on the hands. Named after doctors Felix Lewandowsky and Wilhelm Lutz, the condition usually begins in childhood and has no known cure.

It is believed to be caused by the human papillomavirus and is most strongly associated with strains 5 and 8, although others may also conribute. Genetic predisposition is also thought to partly explain why the disease is so rare, as EV papillomaviruses are often found (15-20%) in normal skin with no increased incidence of cancer.

a missionary in eastern europ end says:
Someone
“I found this man, and other than his hands and feet, he looked and seemed in good health. As best as I could gather these growths began when he was 14 years old, and began in the area of his wrists. The skin on his wrists and the back of his hands resembles that of a hedgehog - hundreds of spike like growths. The problem is much more severe on his palms and fingers where the growths resemble very much that of nails infected with a fungus. The growths have that same texture, smell and feel. I cut a number of the largest growths off, most of witch did not bleed. Some of the smaller growths did bleed a small amount and he seemed much more sensitive to the cutting of the smaller growths. I soaked his hands first in 3 WEA (phenyl mercuric nitrate) and then began. The 3 WEA did help to soften the growths but they still took time to cut through, or sand down, but it worked just as it does with these types of nails on normal hands or feet. I was able to pull many of the smaller growths off applying steady pressure and slowly pulling. But after 1.5 hrs there was not a noticeable change as there are hundreds and hundreds of growths. There was also quite a bit of dissolved material in the bucket of 3 WEA after we finished.

On his feet I did not cut anything, but tried two different solutions of salicylic acid, one a bit weaker than the other, and also a freeze spray wart remover.

I met his mother and brother (they all live together) and their skin looked very normal. They all eat the same foods and he and his brother sleep in the same bed.

It has grown slowly but steadily but has not spread to other parts of his body, just a bit below his knees on his legs. He has other skin growth (many would be skin tags) on his face, and some moles on his chest. The growths are not as bad on his feet but I was told that more than 10 years ago many we cauterized off his feet, and they did not return. I think with repeated soaking and cutting most could be removed but other parts will I think need to be burned away in some form.”

Wow. It's a good thing I didn't meet any of these people in real life, my first reaction probably would've been “Jesus christ!” … That wouldn't been awkward.

i have no idea if this is real:

“Cat grows wings from bieng sexually harassed”

Someone
Granny Feng's tom cat has sprouted two hairy 4ins long wings, reports the Huashang News.

“At first, they were just two bumps, but they started to grow quickly, and after a month there were two wings,” she said.

Feng, of Xianyang city, Shaanxi province, says the wings, which contain bones, make her pet look like a ‘cat angel’.

Her explanation is that the cat sprouted the wings after being sexually harassed.

“A month ago, many female cats in heat came to harass him, and then the wings started to grow,” she said.

However, experts say the phenomenon is more likely down to a gene mutation, and say it shouldn't prevent the cat living a normal life.

The “wings” are 100% real. Sexual harassment probably has nothing at all to do with it, not directly at least. ;)

I once read a a very long article about “winged” cats. What happens is this: A cat's skin is very flexible, stretchy, and muscular. Some cats, for whatever reason experience growths of extra skin over their shoulder blades. It's thought that if the skin starts to gets stretched on some cats, it just continues to expand from that area. Eventually the skin will tend to harden and probably drop off.

But it's quite real and quite documented in history. :)

Huh. That's kinda creepy. I hope they manage to get that stuff off of him. It's surprising something like that isn't fatal. Also it's weird how it didn't grow on his chest at all, only arms and legs.

At first I thought barnacles had latched onto him.

Also the “cats with wings” thing is cool.
