Ello im new and just discovered this website yesturday. There are some really amazing people out there. Anyway I have a comic that i have been working on for 2 years titled my heart is heartless. I have up to 109 to 110 pages already and people tell me they are really good. I would love to post them here and i am but um…all i know is pencil and computer paper. I dont know anything about photoshop and my hand writing is not so good….so i was wondering if anybody had the time to help me ink and maybe even possibly color my comic. Its my dream to have it published one day but im a lost child thank you for your time. I will put some of my work up in a minute I already have the colors i want for only four of my characters.

I'm sorry that I cannot help you (I can't ink, and am very busy now @_@), but it might help if you described the tone and/or of your comic a little.

Give anyone who would be interested a more full picture of your ideas.

well im not really sure i guess an example would be death brigade i love how the author make the lines all nice and sharp. The comic is action adventure and funny. I love how disgaea style is as far as the color and the inking maybe something like that. anything would be better than what i have now i guess.

Have you thought about inking your comic by hand? That would probably work well for you.

You might want to try a lightbox, if you have access to anything like that, or can make a temporary one to see if you like it.

It's basically a box with a bright light inside, and some kind of frosted or semi-transparent glass or plastic on top. You put a clean sheet of paper over the paper with the pencils, and the light shines through. You're basically tracing it. But it means you have a nice clean page for your inking and the pencils are safe from any potential ruin.

Unfortunately not many people are going to be willing to ink or color someone else's comic (it happens, but it's somewhat rare)- which is why people are suggesting that you give it a try yourself. Even a rough effort, or just posting your pencilled pages, etc. may be better than waiting around for someone else to get involved. :]

Yeah, I took a glass panel from my cabinet. When I need a light box for tracing, I put that glass on my lap and shine my lamp through it from on the floor. So you know, there's more than one way to skin a cat.

try GNU Image manipulation program. GIMP. works wonders fast load and once you get the hang of it its as good a program as photoshop but much easier to learn.

did this in 4 hours and i'm not that great an artist. I suck at inking but gimp gets the job done.

this one was only an hour. again shoddy background but meh.

btw looking to kill some time so if you have some cover pages or anything like that need coloring i'm looking for some predone art to practice with.

Hmmm… I can do it. It some times takes me a while and it's definitely no where near as clean as when others do it. But I can do it decently.

Here's and example of my most recent one.
