My one comic page is JUST the right size, the others some how are so big to look at and not sure how to rezie them without ruining the text. Is there a size upate preview for them, or must I upload them to another place and save my picture as something else?

Wrong forum but I'll help anyway.

There is no real previewer, unless you upload it and hit the page edit button. The best way to ensure your page will be an appropriate size is to just make it between 600 and 800 pixels when you're done making it and resizing it. If your text ends up getting too small, the best solution is to just redo the text so that it reduces properly.

change the resolution to 72 dpi.

Then make sure its anywhere from 600-800 pixels wide.
NOW UPDATING!!!

I have a question and forgive me if i missed it, but how does one effectively reply to comments made on the comics page without PQ'ing the heck out of the posters inbox.

I have not seen a reply button. Just the PQ button. If i just put a comment under it the person will not see it unless they come back to the re-read something they have already read.

If there is nothing else than could somebody point me to the suggestion box so i can ask that reply button be added.

Thank you

:D

Jornas, so far as I know you have covered all the options. If someone comments on my comics page I reply there using the same comment box that person used. I figure that if they really want an answer then they WILL return to read the reply. Otherwise the PQ system is the optional methodology.

Near the bottom of the forums listings page is a suggestion forum.

Here on DD most comics put responses to comments in the comment section. It's a generally understood fact of life here and 9 times out of 10 your readers will return to read your reply and in some instances will even make another comment.

If you have concerns that are private or just unsuitable for the comment system then you can start PQing.

Ditto.

The common method is to make a comment yourself addressing the comment you wish to reply to.

Different folks approach this slightly differently, but on the whole, thats the basis of how its normally done.

Many people write their responses to the previous page's comments in the newest page's author comments area. That way they're all in one place and people know where to look if they want a response. Like this:

user1- thanks! I had fun drawing it!
user2- now what makes you say that?
user3- you're right, I misspelled it. It should be fixed now.
