It appears I/we got off on the wrong foot with the comment on my comic.

“Plagiarism” or “rip off” are terms that just hit me like that old vaudeville line “Niagara Falls….slowly I turned”….y'know…the person then beats the shit outta the other one for mentioning Niagara Falls??

So, sorry, I didn't mean to snap or be an asshole, although I have a high black belt in the latter!! It's just that with so many genres that involve swords, fantastic animals, slavery, warriors, you could have equally accused me of using Prince Valiant, Lord Of The Rings, Conan or He-Man!! I think I even saw Gandalf escape from Sauron's evil clutches aboard a giant eagle!!

There is no ripping off. John Norman, the author of the Gor novels, and I have corresponded for a couple of letters and I followed his suggestion when he was reluctant to turn over the rights for a comic. Besides, I always thought Tarl Cabot was luckier than he was skilled and tough….I don't like heroes like that!

So, again, you have my heartfelt apology!
