Name some old games, be it console, pc or whatever, that you remember and are still a bit fond of to this day. Also, try to think of things less obvious than…say Sonic or Mario.

Day of the Tentacle - PC
Hugo's Haunted House or Horrors - PC
Sam & Max Hit the Road - PC
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis - PC
King's Quest: The Princeless Bride - PC
Full Throttle - PC
Popful Mail - Sega CD
Space Ace - Sega CD
Time Gal - Sega CD
Bubsy - Sega Genesis
Streets of Rage 2 - Sega Genesis
Battletoads - Sega Genesis

There's probably more than this…give me time to think about it.

I guess you can name some Playstation 1 and other older 3D console games too….but try to think before that.

Well actually Blue was the one I got all 150 Pokemon on, but I used Red for my test experiments. I used so many gameshark cheats on it that it doesn't function any more.

I prefered Red, but got all 150 on Blue as well…

I liked N64's Harvest Moon. There was this really great game on old macs that was educational… it had a frog. I loved it, but that's all I can remember about it.

The Secret of Monkey Island
Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge
The Curse of Monkey Island
The Colonel's Bequest
Lara Bow and the Dagger of Amon Ra
Space Quest (??) - Roger Wilco and the Time Rippers
Space Quest (??) - Roger Wilco and the Pirates of Pestulon
Kings Quest IV - Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow
The Black Cauldron
..I refuse to ass Perils of Rosella to this list because I loved the game, but all too often did I fall off the stairs at the end of the game and die. Seriously you had to save after every single step!
Kings Quest VII - The Princless Bride
Sam & Max
Day of the Tentacle
Maniac Mansion
Deadly Towers (shut up! I loved that game!)
The Kyrandia Series
Loom
Secret of Mana
Lagoon
I also refuse to put Illusion of Gaia on this list because I loved playing the game, but the ending was about 30 minutes long, and very…veeeerrrrrry boring. Though I hear that that game was a third in a series, and so maybe the long totally boring ending would be better having played the other games.
Little Computer People

and then th much more common ones…

Yup, I have it on my shelf right next to Daikatana and Superman 64. ;-)

(I'm surprised why I still have it though.)

Combat was a much better game. I also remember Adventure, the two Star Wars games and Outlaw. I remember wasting many hours on the Atari version of Pac-man, as bad as it was.

There were always those old Apple 2e games we used to play in school too, like the lemonade stand game and the really old versions of Oregon Trail. I also had a C64 with Jump Man, Baraccuda, and Zork.

I remember the first game I got for the NES was Ice Climber. I still play that every now and then. Anything past the 8-bit era I don't really consider classic.

Oh wait a minute, they just went out of business.

About freaking time. Delaying games for years so they can change the story, add in annoying toilet humor, and modify the gameplay? I prefer my games pre-destroyed. The only game they actually made for the fans (in accordance with their motto) was Arc the Lad.

Battletoads - Sega Genesis

Fail! The sega battletoads is a remake of the nes one. Although the arcade Battletoads is by far the best, the snes one and the one with double dragon was also awesome.

My list of games to remake:

Lost Vikings
Maximum Carnage/Seperation Anxiety
Battletoads
Blaster Master
Super Mario 3
Donker Kong
Werewolf The Last Warrior
all the super star wars games in the quake 3 engine
Chaken The Forever Man
Earthworm Jim
Comix Zone
Judge Dredd
Golden Axe
Altered Beast
Bad Dudes
Splatterhouse (all three)

I'll miss Working Designs's bringing over of great stuff like Dragon Force and Elemental Gearbolt, but not their crap-tacular dubbing. I mute all the cut scenes whenever I play Rayearth.

Zork. GUE 4 life, yo!
Anything by Lucas Arts that's not Star Wars
Bureaucracy
Radiant Silvergun
Ecco
