Okay earlier today I was at a park because well, i was invited to this party thing by florida hospital, anyways I was at the park and had a few snacks, some sierra mist, Hot wings, Hamburger, french fries, hotdogs, and onions all courtesy of the caterer. Well soon I started playing the games and winning some prizes (I got a Yo-Yo and hippie glasses :D). But uh too get to the good part. They were offering free rubber squeaky frogs to people who won the rock climbing competition…Naturally this gets my attention, I love ANYTHING that's annoying and squeaks so i decided to enter the competition….PEOPLE I DIDN'T EVEN GET HALF WAY UP THERE! My foot kept slipping, the cord thing kept getting in the way, and my hat was starting to fall off. As you could of guessed by now I didn't win. But that's not why Im making this topic…Im making this topic because suddently BRUISES and RED MARKS are appearing on my arms and legs for no reason, It hurts to bend my fingers (OW TYPING!) it hurts to walk (GAH THE BACKS OF MY KNEE'S!) and whenever I try to bring my water bottle to my mouth my arm keeps refusing to move( GAH! MY WEENIS! EEK! MY ELBO! THE PAIN!) Im not being a baby here either…I can't get up without groaning in pain…and when I walk I go slow and hunch my back like an old man…

This says I need to work out more…

What about you General discussion? How is your Physical Fitness?
(BTW if anyone ahs a rubber squeaky frog I'LL BUY IT FROM YOU!)

I'm not fit. I'm an underweight skinny fella… But I can walk for miles and miles without getting too tired, run up stairs and all that stuff.
Still, I'm not fit. If I were to exert myself as you did Glarg I'd probably be in a similar condition.

When I turned thirty, so did my body.

I do stand-up and realized, while watching a video how chubby I looked. So I started workin' out, eating less and dancing more. I'll never be the size 0 I was at my wedding, but thirtysomethin' looks alright on me. I'm only 4'11, so I really have to watch it.

(No matter what I do I can't seem to get rid of that stupid arm fat that continues waving long after I've stopped. I just don't understand. I have skinny arms, but there is that flab, just a'wavin in the wind.)

I DO NOTHING!!!!!!! I like walking but I don't enough. I'm very soft and curvy, but apparently not prone to fatness :O

I just ate a bag of Doritos and a half pint of ice cream and I'm gonna have Popeye's for dinner!

(I don't usually eat like that though XD)

Well, I used to be able to run twenty miles without stopping. Now? Not so much, haha. I'm still thin, but that's mostly just because I can't afford food. I don't work out or anything anymore, though.

lol!

I'm in peak physical condition, I usually go running for a few miles (5 most days) on my treadmill everyday. Also my diets pretty much anything I want to eat. I do try to avoid fatty foods and junk calories. Mostly I try and eat stuff thats got a lot of protein. (mostly fish) and I usually avoid dairy, so I end up eating my cereals with soy milk most days. In my insomnia, I work myself out as often as I feel necessary. My daily routine as soon as I get up: I do 100 pushups, 50 indian pushups, 50 pull ups, 100 sit ups, 50 curls, but if I can't sleep I do more. Keep in mind I don't sleep for days at a time, so some days I fudge the numbers or just don't do it at all. (I've been told I lack discipline, go figure) I don't lift weights (although the last time I did, my max was benching ten reps of 250 lbs, and military presses with 50 lbs dumbbells), I've had some mild martial arts training (aikido, jeet kun do, also did karate for awhile) and tend to just use it to impress people with fancy moves. I also did some boxing training. I used to play basketball pretty often too, but I got tired of it. Other than that, I just do what I want to do. I'm not really trying to be a body builder or a fighter, I'm happy with where I'm at now. Also I don't smoke or drink, or any other substances anymore.

I only really went nuts with the work out stuff a year or two ago. I used to not care at all, but then I suddenly thought “hey, I should work out more”

Extreamly fit (not buff but fit)… but thats just cause I've gone out and rollerbladed for 5 to 6 hours everyday since I was 10. I stretch every morning and do 100 sit ups and about 50 push ups. I hate going to the gym, you will never see me at a gym.

I smoke, I'm trying to quit that. It doesn't help me at all.

I drink socially but aside from that. All healthy ^_^

Hmm, dunno. Kinda in the middle. Working in a bakery makes being physically fit hard. But I eat very very healthy foods outside of work to make up for it and I get a lot of walking in my day.

See? I got pooch, I got curve, I'm just sorta neutral.

Well I run a 14:30 2 mile run. Can do 65 push ups in 2 minutes, 78 sit ups in 2 minutes. But its because its in my job. I go to the gym everyday after work plus a hour workout in the morning.

But I will admitt I wouldn't do this much if I didn't need to stay in shape as much as I do.

But I drink ALOT. But…thats also in my job HA!

Nice tummy there. That's a good shape for a girly tummy to have ;)

Fitness if it's part of your job is OK, but is there any other reason for it besides self esteem and vanity? I'm not sure… Most people don't need to be fit really… -just need to be normal…

Sometimes I think I'd like some more muscles on my skeletal frame, but exercise bores me. :(
Who else finds it boring?

Hee, thanks Ozone. *clings* And I do too! I wouldnt exercise if I didn't get it naturally. My friends try to drag me to the gym and I see no reason to go. Just get the essentials in your diet, don't overeat and try to get out a few times a week and you're fine. *nodnod* I like a little meat on a girl and a guy with a six pack scares me. DX

fitness comes with a longer lifespan, people who put crap in themselves (drugs, steroids, health juice, creatinine, atkins/southbeach diet, blood doping) to appear fit only lowers their lifespan.

most of those artificial fitness products are bad for your liver, heart, vascular system, brain, kidney, and stomach.

good 'ol fashion exercise is the way to go, no shortcuts in bieng fit

HOnestly I HATE going to the gym, but I do it anyway.

Even before I joined the army I was in pretty good shape. I played highschool and college Hockey as a goalie so I burned close to 6,000 calories per game.

Even now I don't look great. No six pack or anything, but I don't have much pudge anymore. Its not something you get over a year. I've been playing sports or a soldier since I was 5.

As sub said, its something you get with time, and taking pills and shit just hurts you more.

i'm overweight but am doing what i can to lose weight.
It's ain't easy when you hit 30 and realize that this is the LARGEST you've EVER been.
So now I do cardio 4 times a week for about 30 minutes a session with a friend.
the worst part is eating.
DAMN i love food. And not salad food. I mean meaty, cheesey carby food. And desserts and soda pop.
So I have to beat my vices before I start seeing better results. I've seen a bit so far..but it's slow coming.

Screw the money! I have RULES!

I'm over weight but I do exercise 3-5 times a week for about 1hr-2hr
I have lost a bunch of weight by going to the gym though ^-^
I do find it boring sometimes but I find if I switch my routine and try different machines it helps keep the boredom at bay most of the time. Also having motivating people at the gym helps a lot. Having a buddy going with you also makes things seem more enjoyable but all my buddies are starting to stop going *shakes fist*

gah, working out is so boring! And whenever I work out with someone else, I compete with them without even realizing it, until it's too late and I've overworked myself. But I'm not…completely out of shape. I do/did work at an ice rink, and am working out like crazy this summer to get back in shape for hockey tryouts. I should stretch and do more cardio stuff, though. And maybeh eat less crap. My main food staple is coffee. Prolly not the best thing for me.

I always bring my ipod to the gym wih me so I dont have to listen people grunt and moan. And easy way is to play sports. When I played hockey all the time I never had to go to the gym or even worrie about what I was eating.

I can do 1.5 miles in 13:30, do 75 situps in 2 minutes and 55 pushups in 2 minutes. I do cardio twice a week for about an hour, and run 5k races because it's fun to run with my friends…even though they always beat me.
I just turned 39, am 5'10 and weigh 175 pounds.
…..
And I have blue-green eyes.
…..
I like long walks and going to movies…

…wait..what were we talking about?

exercise bores me. :( Who else finds it boring?

I've always been horribly bored by exercising just to exercise. :/ I kinda get around it by bringing a book to the gym when I use the stationary bike/elliptical, but unless it's a really good book, it gets old pretty fast. Also I kinda just hate the gym. It's smelly and they play horrible music really loudly.

I think the only sport I like doing just to do is swimming. I miss the apartment complex I used to live in, it had a pool that no one used from 9-11pm except me :D

So… in summers I take a couple of 1+ hour walks a week with the dog around the nature park here, but it isn't really enough exercise :/ I was always most fit when I worked at my manual labor jobs. I got exercise AND i got paid! :D Sometimes I think, if only I worked at that warehouse again!
