I was wondering what exactly affects the ranking? I have been increasing in the number of views a daily for a while and I seem to be very low on the rank. Is it by people who faved my comic or is there something else? Please help me out I am going crazy!

i believe it is based on the average of the last 7 day's page views.

All I know is that the rating (like 5s 4s 3s 2s and 1s) don't enter into it, and it is a mystery that has never been revealed in the exact proportions.

IIRC, when the site was very buggy, one thing that mentioned that was bugged were stats. I had been wondering what was up with my stats, since I have pretty healthy page views, but my ranking was locked in for an entire month, and my total page view stats were locked in and way off the mark. After I read stats were bugged too, I stopped looking at mine since they make no sense.

My own page views won't count into total page views of my titles (as long as I'm signed in), right? I hope?

Yes. A page view is counted any time any user hits your page. I think there may be a limited to how many times it can affect your ranking though. I tested to see what moves it up and down by spamming my own page at one point, and after so much my rank just stopped. I had several thousand hits but I only moved so far in the list.

I like the fact the site counts hits for you. It would be nice if it could cut out our own hits, but that's life.

I agree. It would be nice to see what it would be like without my views, or even having the full number. I don't know about everyone else, But I think it would be neat to see what my full actual page views are. I think that I shall just abandon all hope of understanding it and one day, maybe it will get fixed. Thank you all.
