Hi all. I keep seeing comics at about 800 x something or other, and I keep seeing people say you should have a file between 200k to 500k, but what I can't seem to find is what resolution people use.

It may be there so, I'm not meaning to spam but this has gotten me worried.

I had mine sent at 300 but that seemed a bit big for web but 72 seems so low so is there a good Resolution to upload these pages as?

Thanks

Res is mainly for print sizes. It won't change much about how your image looks on the screen. For the screen the important thing is dimensions.

Generally I'd say anything within a 1000x1000 pixel space is fine and probably the largest area you'd go for unless you're doing something funky.

As for file size, around 250K is the max you should ever really do for most images. Only real ammatures need to go over 500K for a normal comic page. Above that and you're looking at print resolution sizes that have no place for screen viewing over the web.

If you're really concerned about DPI go for 100. :)

Thanks a lot :) Yeah, when I make the file, I never know what to put it at and higher res seems to add to the file size. :) but 100? I can do that.
