Hi, I'm Sarah Maywalt. I am a stand-up comedian, and obviously, the author of a webcomic.

I never know what to do with the fact that I'm transsexual. It is a fact, and an important one, but I don't want to be defined by it. I want to be the greatest comedian ever, not the greatest tranny comedian ever. That wouldn't be very hard anyway, there aren't very many of them. I may be the greatest transsexual comedian who has ever lived right now. It's kind of like being the best fisherman in the Sudan. Not a lot of competition.

I like stuffed animals… a lot. It is probably unhealthy. Let me put it to you this way, I don't tell my shrink about them ^_^

I once wrote, but did not illustrate, a comic for Cracked Magazine during their short lived return to print. A paid gig! Boy, I felt like I had made it. Then they went bankrupt again, and only printed one comic. SADNESS!

I have been drawing comics on and off for 6 years now. It started in a Penn State library, making fun of U2. And I am exactly as notable now.
