Bullshit.

Take the course again for 5000 pounds. No way.

You see, the best lies are spread with fragments of truth.

I believe in psychic powers and such (every human has them to some extent) but you do not need to give your money over to develop it! 5000 is fucking insane. :(

Any religion that acts like a moneymaking business and doesnt respect free will is FALSE

http://www.anandainfo.com/cult_checklist.html

1) The group is focused on a living leader to whom members display excessively zealous, unquestioning commitment.

2) The group is preoccupied with bringing in new members and/or making money.

3) Questioning, doubt, and dissent are discouraged.

4) Mind-numbing techniques (for example: meditation, chanting, denunciation sessions, or debilitating work routines) are used to suppress members' doubts.

5) The group's leadership dictates how members should think, act, and feel (for example: members must get permission from leaders to date, change jobs, or get married;) leaders may determine types of clothes to wear, where to live, how to discipline children, and so forth.

6) The group is elitist, claiming a special, exalted status for itself, it's leader(s), and members (for example: the leader is considered the Messiah or an avatar; the group and/or the leader has a special mission to save humanity).

7) The group has a polarized we-they mentality that causes conflict with the wider society.

8) The group's leader is not accountable to any authorities (as are, for example, military commanders and ministers, priests, monks, and rabbis of mainstream denominations).

9) The group teaches or implies that its “superior” ends justify means that members would have
considered unethical before joining the group (for example: collecting money for bogus charities).

10) The group's leadership induces guilt feelings in members in order to control then

11) Members'subservience to the group causes them to give up previous personal goats and interests while devoting inordinate amounts of time to the groups."

12) Members are encouraged or required to live and/or socialize only with other group members.

To quote L. Ron Hubbard; “Make money. Make more money. Make others produce so as to make money . . . However you get them in or why, just do it…” and “Make sure that lots of bodies move through the shop…”

That says enough to me. =|

As if the Church of Scientology didn't have enough problems dealing with the leaked Tom Cruise tape and the fact that they're all batshit insane. Now they have to deal with Anonymous. Has anyone else heard about this?

Okay Scientology is a cult, Anonyomous is trying to destroy them. They are not terrorist's like some people display them as. They are simply doing a great deed that should have been done a LONG time ago. besides terrorist's would have blown up that little “chruch” of their's last Sunday. They just protested and for that they're one step closer to winning. They got the public's eye and we'll see what they'll do next.

Scientology is freaking scary. I respect everyone's right to believe whatever they want, but the Church of Scientology ruins lives - they've driven people to suicide, they've bankrupted families, they've denied people acutely needed medical treatment on grounds of of their “religion”, etc., etc.

While I'm not sure how effective Anonymous are going to be in their war on Scientology, I wish them luck.

Maybe when Anonymous are done with Scientology they can move on to the Exclusive Brethren, who are pretty much the same thing but without a quarter of Hollywood.

Anonymous should just get rid of every religion. If they did that, I would be happy.
