I wonder what they'd be like 50 years from now. And what uses would those androids have.

They can be:
- soldiers
- construction workers
- auto mechanics
- office clerks
- police
- plumbers
- doctors
- you get the idea. ANY job basically.

Therefore, the human would be obsolete.

NOW UPDATING!!!

Project Aiko? This guy has a great sense of humor. Can she run so fast that the surface comes off the road and beat up giant robots with her bare hands?

I guess we should be grateful he didn't give her red hair and a sailor suit.

“Her software could be redesigned to simulate her having an orgasm.”

Wow, let's hope real women don't get hold of that idea eh?

That'd be like making cars nuclear powered…

That'd be like replacing squirrels with robot squirrels…

Pointless and expensive.Sometimes I think your ideas about things come mainly from films… This time it's Futureworld and Blade Runner?

You know. I'm having a hard time believing that this wasn't a staged test. Her responses to the food and the math and reading the text on the paper could all have been prerecorded. It looks impressive to teach her to recite Mary had a little lamb and then wave a paper containing the lyrics in front of her as she says it.

I guess it doesn't help that this was an interview sponsored by the Sun.
Those were my two cents.

I saw this on the news a couple of days ago. It's got to be a hoax. How do you build the most sophisticated robot ever for what comes out to around $25,000? There's probably someone in a back room somewhere with a camera, microphone, and a joystick. Sounds like “cold fusion” to me. On the other hand, who wouldn't want a wife that never went shopping and never said no?

Virtual reality porno will be perfected much sooner than this to end civilization. Plus it'll be cheaper.

Hey we could accually create a paradise (from material side) here in earth. Some people fear that robots might take away job places from humans but maybe no human would have to work and still live a high social life.Obviously, this would led to destruction of humanity, but few years with EVERYTHING - maybe its worth it?But since I dont want to be weak, I'll pass.

You have a real knack for destroying all credibility with your need to take everything to its illogical extreme.
