Yeah. Although Static has definate ties to the established DC animated universe, aside from the 3 appearances by Batman, 1 by Superman, 1 by GL, and another by most of the Justice League all on his show. Plus, an older version of Static appears as a member of the Justice League Beyond when Batman, GL, and WW all travelled to the Batman Beyond future.

I just watched The Batman vs. Dracula movie. It was pretty good. Awesome animation, showed The Batman in a better light than the show does, and had a vampiric Joker (heh heh heh…). The only thing I didn't like about it is that Dracula was sometimes annoying, which he should never be. It was better than I thought it would be though.

Newest episode from season 4 was okay. It was nice to see a bunch of crazy villains like this actually doing something. But, as with most of The Batman's episodes, it didn't have enough explaination. Why did Penguin want that toxic stuff anyway?

Oh well, better than most episodes though.

Paul Dini, the guy who produced The Batman Animated Series with Bruce Timm, is writing the Harley Quinn episode. Considering he was the one who created Harley's character, he'll probably do her justice.

Tater Salad
Writing, probably, but I can't wait to see what sort of XTREEEEEEEEEEMEness they turn her into, especially since she was a hyper psycho-bitch already.

Andrea Ramano, the voice director for Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League, etc. is now the voice director for The Batman as well. She's firmiliar with Harley's character, so I trust her not to screw up.

Harley's character design is in the ComiCon video. It doesn't look that bad.

You call THIS not bad?! It looks like a five year old who wanted to make fake anime designed it!

Eh…it fits into the style of the show. I've kinda gotten used to the art style, so this doesn't phase me as much as Joker's new design did.

I could get used to it. I'm hoping the writing and voice make up for the design.

Did anyone else see the episode today? It was actually really good. They're finally writing the characters in this show as if they actually are the only versions of the characters out there. Also this villain had a real motive, was actually funny, and Batman didn't say any puns at all. Plus there was the whole redemption story with Ethan Benete, harking all the way back to the first season's finale. All in all good stuff.

They did a few inside jokes as well. When the 2nd clayface transformes into Robin to try to trick Batman (actually the 1st Clayface in disguise) he says “Golly Batman!” which betrays the fact that that's not actually Robin. A nice little elbow in the ribs to the 60's Robin character.

Batman/Bruce Wayne's character design has been changed a bit as well to make his chin more like it was in the 90's version.

Anyway it was a good episode, so I'm looking forward to more.

The creators of this show know that they're trying to live up to some pretty amazing stuff. But you have to congratulate them for all the little homages they do. This episode had a few, but there's also one episode where a truck drives by that says “Timm and Dini Delivery” paying tribute to the guys who did the old series.

The new Clayface design is also based on the old series Clayface as well.

Hey did anyone see the new episode today? It was actually really good. I expected any episode which revolved around Zombies to be terrible, but they actually went about it really well. It might have been the best episode of this show ever.

Of course I'm hoping later episodes beat this. But there's been some really solid episodes as of late. Season 4 has really been good.

Maybe it's elitist of me, but I'd prefer if they just did more of the Timm version, you know? Gotham Knights, which was done at the same time as Batman Beyond, had some awesome stuff in it.

It's good to see that they're going in a better direction, but this series was just so bad, particularly if it tried to stand up to the one that came before. ={ I think it might be a case of being too little, too late.

Thank Primus that they cancelled Zeta Project though. If they were gonna do a Batman Beyond spinoff, it should've been about Justice League Beyond. MORE AQUAGIRL!

I would have liked to see more of the future Justice League, but hey, what can you do? Thank God for the “Epilogue” episode of JLU.
