In this Project Three users work together to make a totaly original comic. Here;s how it would work. Someone would come up with a comic idea and then share it with the second participant (an artist). He would than draw the idea WITHOUT any text. The third person (an author) would add in text. But before I make it, I'd need to know if people would be interested.

Whats the use of the third guy? Couldn't it work jes as easily with “Artist draws random compic sheet with no text and new person comes in and writes text”?

So person #1 comes up with a concept, person #2 draws the comic based upon the concept, and person #3 adds the text without knowing what person #1 said, am I right? I understand sidwarrious' point of view, but having the third person does open it to more people. I'd be interested in taking either the person 1 or person 3 position if the above is correct (no time to draw much more beyond my normal comic stuff).
That's “Dr. BlkKnight” to all of you.

That's it! :D

Basicly, since you guys wanna know what person one is realy needed for, It's so he can't “Force” the comic. If he came up with an idea AND drew it, he'd draw it how it's going on in his head. Person one will basicaly give a descreption on what happens on each panel, then person two will draw based on the description, and three will just add in text.

The best thing I can think of to describe it, is a def man reporting a crime scene. He doesn't know what they said, or what they were thinking. A Cop then draws out the actions how the def person described them. Then some one rights text on the documents for no appearent reason what so ever.

Okay, so far we got

Comic one

#1 Sidwarrious
#2 Me
#3BlkKnight

Comic two

#1 -
#2 -
#3 Me

Comic three

#1 -
#2 -
#3 -

We won't start untill all the slots are filled out.

I'm filling in positions for comic two first. Is that okay for me to add you in that one?

I'll take position one on comic two if Jules wants position two. (Don't got much time to draw lately)

Yeah, that'd great.

I'll take position two for Comic 2 then. Shouldn't be a problem.

Sorry, I forgots :(

To answer You bascally CAN describe whatever to a limit. It's going to be a T+ comic so, yeah. ANd you can't give the artist to much like “AND IT'LL HAVE THE ROCK FIGHT VIN DIESEL ON A BUS DRIVING ON THE MOON BEING ATTACKED BY SONIC CARYING MARIO SMOKING A BLUNT WITH A RAINBOW IN THE BACKGROUND WITH…” and so on.

Okay, I'm going to add an updated list AND rules.

All right cool so to go over this one more time. It is a one page comic and the person who performs job one would come up with the general idea and panel lay out? Or does person two come up with panel lay out?

Person one can describe what happens in each panel, if that's what he wants to do.

I got your PQ, Sidwarriouse. I might work on it, but I won't do anything with it until we got all the slots filled for page three.

One last question. Does there need to be continuity between pages? Like say does page 1 have to flow from page two, or can each page be just something random and crazy?

I'd assume randomness because one person's concept may differ greatly from another's.

AND IT'LL HAVE THE ROCK FIGHT VIN DIESEL ON A BUS DRIVING ON THE MOON BEING ATTACKED BY SONIC CARYING MARIO SMOKING A BLUNT WITH A RAINBOW IN THE BACKGROUND WITH…

Well that would be scary. I guess the name of the game would be vaugeness/ simple… ness to give more open options of what to draw?
As long as it's not that complicated I'd really like to draw / be the second person in comic three. I could write a story concept too but I'd rather draw.
Are we doing all three pages at once? My Thanksgiving break ends at the end of this week so I don't know if I'd be able to make the comic after that time (Sunday).
Woot. I think this is a really cool community project idea. :)

Great idea!

I would like to do a comic, but I really don't want to be person one.
I feel that my style of humor I think of on a panel by panel basis, and well… lets just leave it at I would like to do one or two.

You don't even know if your style will come through or not because you won't actually be drawing. Take a chance. If we do more pages then you can get a new spot on a new page. I didn't particularly wanna be #1 for the FIRST comic. If my idea is bad it could ruin this altogether so hopefully I came up with something weird and entertaining.
