Lol yeah, that caught me off guard XP

I don't know if Shades counts as unnoticed, but it's a very exciting, character-driven comic.
All of Theorah's work deserves more praise. Her recent DD feature London Underworld is fantastic (and very regularly updated) and I am a huge fan of her old comic, Am I Still Here.
I love The Hub too, by hyena hell.

Traume von Magpie is great :] Same person also does The Adventures of Katmandi which looks like it will be fantastic.

Kristen GudsnukHey, thanks, Kristen. I doubt if Shades qualifies as “unnoticed” - we were even featured way back in 2007!

It could always do with more readers, though, so perhaps we can settle for “under appreciated”! ;-) Thanks for thinking of us!
A WW2 fighter pilot, a First Century warrior queen and a prehistoric shaman. Oh, and their tailor. These are not your common-or-garden heroes!

Yeah, I don't think I qualify as unnoticed either… but thanks for the nod. :)

Has someone already said Endstone? It's got this pulp, old-school charm to it, and amazing traditional inking style. (He posted a couple drawings in the “superhero fanart” thread that blew my mind, too.)

yeah, yeah, I get it, you guys aren't unnoticed… I just don't skulk around DD enough to find the real diamonds-in-the-rough.
What about this one:
Faust? It's really well-drawn, and a literary adaptation ;)

Thanks for the nod, HH. I'd mention the Hub (in fact I just did :) ) but we've been through this already in this thread. :)

Yeouch. It's tough when your main character comes across as a little silly. LOL.
But I appreciate hearing honest feedback. Actually, the pig-bat people are supposed to be deer. I even have a deer photo on hand when I draw the character. Oh well, maybe the ears are getting a little out of hand. I'll work on that. But then again, I'm personally a little silly so perhaps that's seeping through. :)
Thanks for the feedback. Again I appreciate it.

repomanSorry, I didn't mean to be harsh, it's just hard to describe. :] It just seemed out of place to me because they otherwise look perfectly human, but with the nose and ears kind of popped on like, well, Halloween accessories. Without the context of anything else deer-ish about their features it's hard to tell what animal it was from (without reading, which I admit I didn't do, and might explain things better). Your art is excellent which is why in contrast the addition of just a nose and ears to make them look different actually makes them feel really out of place. :/

(Sorry, critique doesn't really go in this thread does it?)
Just came across this one yesterday, I hope it turns out interesting: Saint Christopher's Orphanage for Lost Children

No problem at all. I don't consider it harsh. Honest feedback helps me get better. :)
Anyhow keeping this thread on track, Robomeks http://www.drunkduck.com/Robomeks/ has some really fun and dynamic art going on.

amandaSeconded on The Ends!
Back with fresh blood for you:
KCKC has cute art and fun humor ^.^
Edit: Another one, and I didn't want to double-post.
The Ends is a much different feel than KCKC, that's for sure. Dark and post-apocalyptic with some lots of mutants and a sassy mouth-shoulder.
I really love Southern Comfort… it's got these great, sleazy characters drawn in… I dunno if I'd call it a “cute” style, but… whatever. I can't describe it. But it's totally right up my alley. :)

It's a Korean shoujo, fan-translated to English. There are big eyes that make you think Agent Moulder has failed in stopping the aliens from seeding their genes on Earth.
Now absorb the incredible painting skills and stylized, relaxed cinematic layout…

This one's only been with DD for a few days but the creator has been uploading pages at a rate of knots and so it has a sizable archive already.
Sleepbringer is a bit of a rarity - a Wild West comic complete with trappers and trackers and injuns. (Can we say “injuns” now that it's generally acknowledged that “native Americans” are no more native than any other group of European settlers?! ) Anyway, fine B&W artwork with a couple of story arcs already complete and just waiting to be read … so go read!

Okay I mentioned this comic previously but for some reason no one wants to give it the time of day.
The People That Melt In The Rain
why aren't you reading this comic.
the illustrations are beautiful and the story is whimsical and intriguing.
its on page 12.
check it out

Lemme 3rd up on The Ends. I found it this morning while working on reviews in the review thread…
Been a HELL of a long time since a comic sucked me in like that one.
Go. Read. NOW.

I'm gonna give some love to Last Place Comics. It's sort of popular, but I'm utterly shocked that it isn't a top ten strip on this site. It's funny as all hell.

Wait, he's not in the top ten anymore!?!
He got like, 17,000 or something pageviews in one day. Maybe it was 30,000. I don't exactly recall.
Besides that, everything on my favorites has already been featured, so I can't really contribute.
Actually, scratch that. The Luminiferous Aether is looking VERY awesome. Another amazing comic so far by Dark10 (He made GUTS, which was also on here, and featured) I think if you want to start reading it, you should start now, because it's only 6 pages so far!

I echo that!
Dark10's new comic rocks so far for only 6 pages in.

also check out, The Adventures of Katmandi. 15 pages in and this is and amazingly illustrated comic. beautiful. heads and shoulders above most web and mainstream comics in my opinion.

i think a lot of darkchibishadows comics go unoticed.
WIRES 2 is kind of popular but i stil think a lot of people don't notice it… O:
the style kind of wavers a bit somtimes but I think that lately its been improving a lot…(though it's always been good to me) :/
oh i guess some1 talked about it already but
i think comics about werewolves are way undercreated, so I like You're My Moon a lot
Death Cab For Beauty is all black grays pink reds and whites.

I like Jackrabbit Days a lot.
It's kind of simple and each strip is only 4 panels long, that kind of thing…but if you're into something that's easy to read it's fun.
Updates about 3 times a month, but it's worth it I think.
(Also someone mentioned some of my comics again, I always feel awwwkwaaard…)
