Screw it, I'm resurrecting this thread. It's something that pretty much everyone can contribute to at least once.

I'm listening through this entire album while I finish up the pencilling. I got it off iTunes just the other day and I'm loving it; it's got lots of Macabre's normal death metal-type stuff as well as their morbidly delightful reworkings of much happier tunes.

I draw to Down With the Sickness, Beezleboss, and Metallica all at maximum volume. You can add some other metal artists in there but yeah, it keeps my focus. Same thing while writing.

“Werewolf or Bedburg” by Macabre (definitely one of my go-to bands for pencilling Carnies pages; just the right mix of death and humour). I honestly think that this particular song could double as a kick-ass “boss fight” song in a video game. I'm actually gonna have to try it whenever I get around to hooking my XBox or Gamecube up again.

Fozzy, Taking Dawn, Rise Against, and other shit like that. It has nothing to do with what I'm drawing but who the fuck cares?

Usually when I draw No Heroes I listen to soundtracks…
Star Wars
Fable 1
Fable 2
Bioshock
Bioshock 2
Harry Potter
Wanted
Fallout 3

Stuff like that.
When I'm drawing other stuff, like my not yet online comic Red Paw clan (RPC) or just random things I listen to this:

Call me lame if you want, but Billy Joel's “The Stranger”. I love it, and the piano riffs really do help me stay focused on inking.

I've got some Dethklok playing. While they aren't a real band, the actual musicians are extremely talented.
