Actually you're not that strange DancingChaos - My brother was the same way. He hates driving and didn't until he moved back to a job where he had to. And he was in his 30s. So no, not that weird. ;)

Really? My friends call me weird because they said they wanted to ‘go places’ and ‘do things they couldn’t do without a car'. I just said I didn't care about that stuff, and they were extremely shocked. The difference between me and your brother, is that your brother can drive and he just doesn't want to, and I don't know how to drive, and I don't feel like learning. Or driving. (It took me 4 tries to pass the written test a few months ago!!!)

Thanks for the response! :D

This year, school's full of BS!!!

Well I'm in Iraq right now so the only thing I drive is an M998 HMMWV. Back in the States, I have a Nissian Xterra. That thing's a lot of fun to drive, I miss my car :(

I own a 1997 Ford Thunderbird. One of the last of its kind actually.

It's about time to put it out to pasture. I'm looking to buy something new next year if this job I just got hold's steady. Not sure what to buy though. Sky's the limit when you have zero debt like I currently do!

My father had an Xterra. It really is a fun car, fun to drive, fun to mess around with and just a general all around good car. Though, I love the second generation more so than the first and the third. The newer models aren't my cup of Coke. D:

2006 Ford Focus ZX3, maroon. I call her Haley. What do I want to drive? I like what I have. I'm GRATEFUL for what I have after having a 97 VW GTI that was falling apart. I thank God every day for a 21st century car.

I drive a cardboard box with cardboard wheels stapled to the sides. I sit in there and make “brum, burm!” noises. :)

What's scary is I see this in my head… With your hats and hair. And it works.

Yeah, it's also the best city to view old broken down Honda Civics with horrible unmatching colors, a loud engine, and $2399 dollar spinning rims.

That's true, but can't you see they're trying to trick out their ride? Art takes time… either that, or their $7.25/hr job can only do so much, or so little.

Correction: $7.50

I guess, but wouldn't it make more sense to upgrade the car from the inside out, rather than the outside in?

I call that, the Breast Enlargement Theory—Why the hell am I defending these idiots?! They're annoying, especially when they pull up next to you bumpin' their latest G-Unit hit.

But back to the thread's main point. I want to drive Christine.

I'd say it does! My only car's my bike. An Electra Cruiser 1. I also have a Schwinn Varsity that I'm rebuilding.

I actually don't want to own a car. In the south where I live, because of the lack of transportation owning a car is somewhat of a necessity, however, I don't plan to live here all of my life so I plan to move to the North where I would not need a car for myself.

Either that, or I would get a bicycle for the time being. It's good exercise when you use it and it helps the environment because you don't add harmful fumes to the atmosphere.
