If your comic had a soundtrack, what would be on it? Mine would have a lot of J-pop and disco.

My comic already has a built in soundtrack. :)

But if there was a soundtrack, it would be this.

I think mine would be the disintegrating loop song I accidentally deleted off of my computer and can't find on the internet.

nevermind, found it:

D:\New Music\Basinski, William - The Disintegration Loops III\02 DLP 5.mp3

all 52minutes and 21 seconds of it.

Oni No Noroi would have eerie koto and shamisen music..
In fact, I once thought of implementing that into the site, but then I realized how annoying people think that is.

I dunno about a soundtrack for Narou…

I am FS2 champion! w00t!!

Equinox (needs updated!), would probably have a selection of classical music as it's soundtrack. It was meant to have a cold solemn feel, and I feel only the strange bittersweet feel of classical could fit it properly.

Canon (Main theme) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxVLOCfU4g0
Moonlight Sonata (Rose's Theme) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oI6aY_BQ_tI
Fur Elise (unnamed shadow creature's theme) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5E_N01sFbY

The old EMD! would have been infested with J-pop and other things like that. The rebooted EMD! would have a totally different soundtrack since It will eventually have a far more aggressive and destructive feel. This is ain't noticable yet, but should be by the middle of chapter 2.

Rose's theme: Nightwish- Planet Hell http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-WPtVAAxUE
Hana's theme: Dragonforce- Through the Fire and the Flames http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7_JafYlMY8
Ceruss' theme: Linkin Park- Breaking the Habit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HECnppIDWng (LOL! EMO!)
Al's theme: Nightwish- Crimson Tide Deep Blue Sea http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHrNnYxSly8

As for my final, and greates creation of all time, HIE QWALITIE COMIX 1 and 2, there is only one song that fits them…

Are you hardcore enough to click this link?

Found a great rock version of Canon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBN0OSLIm8g&mode=related&search=

Le Farce sounds best to Renegades of Funk (the Rage Against the Machine version):

Probably a mixture of rock and indie, retro Beatles style pop rock and a little bit of dance or techno where needed. I like to think that FanDanGo would have a similar feeling to the soundtrack to the anime ‘FLCL’ (aka Furikuri/FooleyCooley etc. Everybody seems to have a different name for it) . I like classical soundtracks, but it wouldn't fit the feel of the comic, too serious. I use influences of sixties psychadelia in the artwork of the comic, so I think having a slightly psychadellic soundtrack would go well.

Mine would probably be one of the following

Fuel - Metallica
Never You Mind - Semisonic
Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
Lithium - Nirvana
Walk Idiot Walk - The Hives
Come On Come In - Velvet Revolver

The list goes on

I'd basically want something catchy, with a more cheerful vibe to it, and lots of energy and heavyness.

In Session would probably have silly music like Aqua or that N Sync song Funky Town, or anything silly or weird in a hyper way…

Wolf would have Blade Runner :p *laughs*

I'd probably have alot of college rock. Stuff like Guster and Dave Matthews (even though I kinda hate dave matthews) probably some weezer, and then some brit punk/pop like arctic monkeys, lily allen, and jamie t. And then some of the down tempo pop/rock I actually like, like andrew bird and the white stripes.

I tend to listen to more techno/house music, but it doesn't fit the theme of the comic. I suppose I'd take the opportunity to drop some drum and bass first chance I got though, maybe some Drumsound and Bassline Smith, or Pendulum.

I COULD just name drop the stuff I listen to the most, but that doesn't fit the tone of any of my comics.

Rambling Crazy Man would have Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd. Stuff from Piper at the Gates of Dawn and all the weird-ass unreleased stuff. Syd was a wacky dude.

TORANDO would have annoying 80's pop.

Look…Ummm…Bugs!!! would have the kind of music that they used to score 50's educational films with.

TORANDO ZX 10000 AND A HALF would have the kind of cheesy action music they use in DBZ, since that's the main thing that comic is making fun of.

Question Marks and Answers would have dramatic organ music. (Classic soap opera scoring.)

Satan's Evil Square would have to have something different for every page.

a LOT of Flogging Molly. Particularly their pirate stuff, but I'm not fussy. Most of it fits in atmosphere. ;)

I actually had a lot of MIDIs based on the characters when I was working on a NFA game in RPG Maker way back when :P
A lot of it was Lodoss War-based – lots of piano music, strings and harps

BTRN would need a lot of futuristic, yet war-esque music. Music in the vein of FunkerVogt (“International Killer” would be great, as would “F-117”, or “Under Deck”, ooh! Or “Remember Childhood” Nightwish) “Tenth Man Down” is THE BTRN-esque war song. Yet it would also need a dramatic, mellower side, stuff like Apoptygma Berzerk (“In This Together” would work wonders) or Subway to Sally (“Feuerkind” .>)

Anyway, Clockwork would have a similar sounding soundtrack, only less “futuristic war” sound and more “Medieval meets power metal”, being mainly consistant of a human chess game with ties between the characters and the Medieval roles represented in the pieces. Stuff like Rhapsody of Fire (the former Rhapsody. Ooh, “Emerald Sword” would work wonders) and DragonForce (“Operation Ground and Pound” and “Once in a Lifetime” <3).

Okay, the side bar of the comment box is now existant, I need to stop typing now.

Think anything by E Nomine works pretty well for FiS.
Especially this song:

“You'd never get a cat to be a servant. You ever see a cat return a stick? ”Hey man! You threw the stick, you go get it yourself! I'm busy! If you wanted the stick so bad, why'd you throw it away in the first place?"

20G would have a sort of eerie orchestral theme to it. I use a lot of James Newton Howard songs for musical influence, the stuff he did for the M. Night Shymalan movies.

00 Wings would be a little more upbeat, I was going with a swing/big band theme for influence.

My comic's soundtrack would be a mix of styles. Dasien would get a lot of upbeat Vince-DiCola-style synthesize music, whereas the villains would primarily get a lot more metal, like a combo of Paul Gilbert, Yngwie Malmsteen, and CBFH-era Pantera.

For my current chapter: “Gardenhead/Leave Me Alone” by Neutral Milk Hotel

For the entire comic: “Life Like Weeds” by Modest Mouse.

Actually, all of the comic chapters (and the comic itself) are named after/ inspired by songs I like. So… I guess whatever the chapter would be would be the soundtrack to it.
