Please share your “techniques” to browse drunkduck. I would like to hear some suggestions on how to browse/read the forums efficiently, I use to read it all every time, but I don't have time to do that anymore and it was kind of exhausting. So please share your everyday DD habits, maybe we can learn from you ;)

I pick 3-5 forums, and make sure I am the most recent poster everytime I refresh.

usually I'll check the introduce yourself part, because when you greet a newcomer…they're likely to check out your comics. Then I check the general section to see if there's anything interesting, media, techniques…it's all really a matter of how bored I am.

heh, good idea, i do it too :P

i generally just wonder round, read comics in one tab, read forums in another, and go into whatever i want depending on my mood

well , i used to open about thirty or more tabs in FF, pretty much checking out every comic that shows up in the recently updated part of the main page (excluding the mushrooms of course) that way they have time to load while i look at the first one or the forums , lately i haven't been doing that so much , seems like it takes longer to load these days , either DD got slower or i got impatient !
i still try to check out my favs as they update (about 100 of those, though i never bothered to count)
For the Forums, i generaly go to the debate and discussion more than others , or the bug one for some reason !

OPEN THE TOP DRAWER, THEN STAY THERE.

Simple.

I usually stay away from debating, pop my head in Media, Comic and Game Discussion, moderate the Forum Games, post a lot in General and Fightsplosion, and try to make the Top Drawer what it used to be.

But wherever I am, I use grammar, properly spelt words and italics to emphasise words.

UNLESS I SPEAK IN CAPITAL LETTERS FOR IRONIC HUMOUR.

Although seriously, I usually pop into Media and Game Discussion. I rarely post in General Discussion so most of the time I am found posting in the Top Drawer. Apparently the Top Drawer used to be better than it is now, but I really wouldn't know. I do my best to make the TD better, but I probably make things worse.

Who knows.

I go to the different forums at random, sometimes returning to one section that I posted in recently to see if anyone's yelled at me yet. But other than that, I'm pretty eclectic.

I look at the names and dates of the last posts in each forums and think…
-OMG I'm bored, why doesn't someone post something new and interesting??? :(
And then someone does, but it's just Cthulhu or Sea Cow and I think…
-Shyeah, like that'll be interesting… poo!
Then later on I see another username and I think…
-Yay! Maybe there'll be something interesting this time? :)

I usually check the following daily (sometimes several times a day): General Discussion, Debate and Discussion, Comic Reviews, Comic Discussion (Print and Web!), Art and Literature Corner and Media Discussion. More rarely, I will watch Tips and Tricks, Hey Everyone Look What I Did, You Say Hello I Say Goodbye and Help! How Do I?

That's about it…

I read everything.

I usually pop into General Discussion, Debate and Discussion, Tips and Tricks, Comic Discussion and Art & Literature… oh I go in WTH too to see what's up for lulz. X3 None of the other forum sections really interest me… sometimes I pop in the Top Drawer but I've yet to post there… XD

I usually check out General Discussion, Comic Discussion, and Art and Literature. Sometimes I check in the Community Projects forum because I'm always looking to be part of things that could help me practice and improve my drawing. Now and then I read Debate and Discussion but I don't post there. (Usually there are a couple good debaters who have my viewpoint and express it better anyway.)

I check into some of the other forums when I'm bored, especially if the last poster is someone who tends to have interesting posts.

i stick to the game forums but when i get board i branch out (like i am now) and when i read a thread i just read the tital the first post and the last 2 or 3 posts (if that) befor i post

I don't have time to read all. I pick the new and interesting topics that catches my attention. My response to a thread can go from logical to absurd. I sure have a whole big bunch of interesting stuffs awaiting to flood WTH forum. Just ya all wait.

I usually float around in General, Tips and Tricks, and everything in the Art/Literature section. The rest of the forums I'll skim if I'm bored, but don't usually post in.

“Tips and Tricks” and “Comic Discussion” are my places of choice.

I don't have a schedule yet, but I think I will just browse all the forums for now till I decide which ones I like.

I use the same method as Ozone, I look at the name and decide whether I would be using my time to read an interesting view, thought or perception of something or whether I would be reading a bunch of internet memes and random shit.

So basically, people who I know how some sense of intellectuality on one side. ZeroVX on the other. I have had all the “9000!!” I can take.

I usually just check out anything that takes my interest. I rarely check out the same forums in the same day (except forum games).

I just bash my face into the screen for about 5-10 minutes and then see what has been posted.

I start in the general discussion, and work my way down. I guess I only go into the catagories I'm interested in. Then, later that day, I always check to see if anyone replyed to what I said.

I spawn camp 3-5 threads I think are interesting, and when people stop talking in them, I pick up some new ones. I love spending my time in WTH though. :3
