I have doubts on that report though. What about places like North Korea, Iran, and Zimbabwe and China's statistics look questionable.

There's nothing unquestionable. That sounds perfectly ok. :)

-It goes by the proportion of a country's total population ;)
China has MASSVE population. So while their prison population may be higher, it's a smaller percentage of the total.

That's not true for anywhere. Only during times of extreme violent unrest, like the Afghan war.

Some countries do have a lot of executions, but it makes almost no affect on Kyupol's stats, even with extreme estimates.

And the U.S. has the highest execution rate out of developed first world countries…

Now you could count the Burmese killing protesters etc… but you get into troubled waters, then you have to include all killings by authorities. You still can't win on that.

Eh. America is still rated as a very good place to live. And the fact that these kind of stats are freely available in the U.S. (although Kyupol's graph is from the BBC), is a BIG count in its favour. ;)

People in some of the other countries on Kyupol's graph haven't got nearly as easy access to such information about their own countries…

Maybe for now. But the way I see it, USA is sliding into an orwellian state.

Don't believe me though. Do research yourself and see.

This may be one of the first things you've said that I agree with.

I am worried now.
