BlkKnight tried to run a summer version of Secret Santa last year. I don't remember it finishing well. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing one this year. It really wouldn't start for a month, so this is just for interest NOT sign ups.

I would be interested, though I think calling it something else may help it more, since calling it summer secret santa sounds a little giddy and that in itself might turn people away. Is there any sort of gift giving holiday during the summer months?

If you want to be technical, Christmas isn't a winter holiday. (Ask Ozone) However, I can't think of any gift giving type of thing for the month of June/July. So, might as well make one up.

I might be interested. But I suggest a name that can accomodate for the people on the other side of the equator, as well. Maybe “Drunk Duck Mid-Year Art Exchange”, or something. I think it would help everyone to know what it means intuitively.
