Your Favorite SNL Sketch!

I thought this might be a great topic…maybe not…but I have always love Saturday Night Live. Recently it has declined quite a bit but there are so many funny sketches from the long running history. I thought it would be cool if others shared their favorite sketches and maybe it would also jog others memories and maybe laughter would ensue.

To start, I always have thought the commercials that SNL has done to be their funniest.
This one called the Cluckin' Chicken is one of my faves!

XD Never saw that chicken one before.

Actually, I haven't watched too much SNL, but I do have a favorite sketch - the Superfans. I swear these guys are my uncles.

It's so hard for me to choose a favorite. But the ones I like most always seem to be commercials.

@ Whirlwynd ..The Superfans was classic in its day. Chris Farley made that sketch with him having heartattacks all the time! I miss him. :(

@ KingofSnake…I remeber that sketch Will Ferrell is freakin' genius! I tried searching for it and NADA as well.

“I liked Fecal Matters”, and “Perspectives with Lionel Osbourne”.

Both were Tim Meadows sketches. The first is great for the stupid gross-out aspect and the way it's introduced in such a pervy, understated way. And the other for it's subtlety and understatedness, among other things. Both of those recurring sketches were smart as well as hilariously funny.

Meadows was good for that kind of thing.

Jim Carrey as a lifeguard with Will Ferrel was always my favorite.

…Does anyone remember the two guys who would dress up as Mozart-esque noblemen and eventually sit naked sipping tea? I can't for the life of me remember who the two actors were. I'm trying to find those sketches on YouTube.

I vaguely remember that one. I think one was Mark McKinney from Kids in the Hall. He was big for The Chicken Lady as well, where they did some sex type show thingo, with Cheri Oteri?

That was cool. :)

I loved the wannabe cheerleaders with Cheri Oteri and Will Farrell as well.

My fave Skit with Jim Carrey was the Scanners self help parody thing, I think they called it “Snaking” or something.

Hell yeah, that cheerleader skit was hilarious.

'Lazy Sunday' was a great one, the rap by Parnell and Samburg. The Ray Lewis/Lion King spoof was criminally funny.

Ride the Snake. Jim was pitching his diet where he lost like 125 pounds in 3 days thanks to a sweatsuit and crystal meth. And then he went to the audience and will farrell was like “Not only did I lose 85 pounds over a weekend, but I've come to realize that I AM THE DEVIL, AND I WILL SWALLOW THE SOULS OF MANKIND!” and then he and jim had a scan off, which jim won.

Yeah, that was Jimmy Tango's Fat Busters and it was hilarious. In fact, that whole episode with Jim Carey is my favorite episode of the show. It had that great lifeguard skit and it's the one where they invented the Roxbury guys (and they were still funny then).

By the way, I always like this skit featuring Conan O'Brien called:
Moleculo: THE MOLECULAR MAN!!!

Anything with Phil Hartman is usually gold. As for commercials, the “Oops, I Crapped My Pants” one always makes me laugh. Oh, and Dana Carvey singing “Choppin' Broccoli”:

How about the one with Chris Farley as the character Maxwell Albright on a play who was getting (or was supposed to be getting) killed by the murderer character Bob Mackadoo, but wouldn't die according to the script because his family was watching in the audience? And he was screaming while he was getting killed, like this:

Maxwell Albright: What? (punch) OOWW!! (punch) OOWW! (punch) WHY ARE YOU (punch) HITTING ME!! (punch) WHO ARE YOU? (punch) YOUR FISTS (punch) ARE CRUSHING MY FACE!! (punch) OWW! (punch) YOUR PUNCHES ARE (punch )AHHH! HEARING MY BONES SNAPPING!! (punch) YOU'RE KILLING ME!! (Max is thrown into a table that smashes under his weight) MY MONOCLE (kick) HAS SLICED (kick) MY EYE (kick) AHH!! (kick) I'M BLIND! (Bob throws Max onto the sofa and continues his unholy beating) I CAN'T SEE (punch) AHH!! STOP! (punch) STOP IT! (punch) YOU'RE KILLING ME!! (punch) OH, GOD! (punch) THERE'S BLOOD EVERYWHERE! (punch) OH, MY GOD! I'M SWIMMING IN MY OWN WARM STICKY BLOOD!! FLUIDS SHOOTS FROM MY EYE SOCKETS!! MERCIFUL GOD! WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS!! ANSWER ME !!! (Bob approaches with a shovel) (clang) OOHH!! YOU'RE USING A SHOVEL (clang) OOWW!! (clang) YOUR FISTS (clang) WERE BAD ENOUGH (clang) NOW THIS!! (clang) OOWW!! I SEE DEATH, HE IS COMING (clang) OOHH! (the force of the last blow throws him against the furniture on the other side of the room, Max on his knees) OH, NO! (punch) OW! (punch) OOWW!! (punch) DON'T LET ME DIE (punch) IN (punch) A (punch) PUDDLE (punch) OF MY (punch) OWN (punch) URINE!!! (Max is again thrown to the ground)

Man, that scene kills me.
Renga: How are you everyone !!
Renga: All your weather are control by me.
Renga: I has a weather machine.
DrunkDuck: What you say !!
