Note that all the information was freely given, I for one don't care who registers, so long as they choose to do it, we only gave away information that we wanted to be public knowledge, and we chose to do it. It's when you try to force us to give out personal information that we have a problem.
It may not seem like a big difference to you, but it matters to me, that is one of the reasons I side with Riot, to have the choice to give out as much or as little information as I please, it's a right that is inherent to the internet.
