So, as of today's comic and Crystal's re-proposal to Doug, we have a wedding to plan! And I thought it might be fun to ask you, the readers, what type of wedding do you think Doug and Crystal should have? Justice of the Peace? Obviously, Crystal wouldn't be too comfortable with a traditional Christian wedding. Should there be an Asian influence, even though we've yet to say exactly where Doug stands on Asian issues?

I'm curious would you think. Be creative!

Asian all the way!!!

No wait… that's the kind of wedding *I* want. :P

Since they've been married before, I would think they wouldn't really want a huge to-do type wedding. But at the same time, re-uniting is a big deal for the family, and they don't seem the type of family to just be satisfied with a simple Justice of the Peace type thing.

For them, I would imagine a small intimate family and close friends ceremony, where they perhaps just revisit any old vows they may have made. Perhaps with some revisions relating to all the things they've been through since the original wedding.

As for theme…. I'm really not sure, as you said we haven't gone into Doug's stand on Asian issues, and honestly the only thing I can really say I know for sure about Crystal's opinion is that a traditional Christian theme may not be fitting. It brings up the fact that while I see and can understand where these characters are coming from in certain aspects, there's a lot I don't know about them in sense of style and personal interests.

Above all, it has to be a love affair ;) I think they should discuss it with their daughters and they all plan something that is significant and meaningful to them personally. Never mind circumstance and ceremony ;)

I like small, backyard weddings. They're intimate and good for people who don't want to marry in a church. They can invite just their closest friends and family in the area.

Maybe instead of your typical wedding dress, she could just wear a simple, but nice dress in white, off white, or whatever color she feels like wearing.
