23 is a story set in part of the “Dreamwalkers” universe, set in one of several realities the main characters of “Dreamwalkers” may find themselves. It's defined as a “graphic novel,” with a beginning, a middle and an end, but it's anticipated that “23” will narrate a number of stories.

These various stories will serve as a “cheat sheet,” essentially defining the canon for Dreamwalkers, explaining the different rules of the various realities, the ways one walks through and in-between and the more mundane, but important social conventions.

The first “chapter,” Mahala, the Mark of Shame, deals with the convention of slavery in the Misty Realm and the physical mechanics of the Misty Realm itself, and a few hints about how it relates to this reality and the cultural lore we have of elves, dwarves, faeries, sprites and the stories of the Seelie and Unseelie courts as recounted in Celtic fairy stories.

There is a great deal of casual, rather blurry nudity but this story will have few explicit sexual siduations, though there may well be some violence and “language.” That's why 23 carries a Mature rating.
