While derivative, the art is good, but the characters are seriously boring and predictable. The story's elements are thrown together with seemingly little foresight and it results in a rather meandering feel. I do think it's gotten better with this, though.

Like how every american comic looks the same? Like Hellboy and Wormwood look the same as the original Spiderman and Xmen?

Don't lump a countries worth of different artists in to a category based off a couple of webcomics. Whether or not this particular comic uses a generic style, criticising it with such a broad term reeks of poor research.

I agree, I could've worded it better, but the sentiment still stands. The examples I cited are abound in manga, and they simply don't do it for me - that slapstick application to the art is just jarring and unnecessary to me, and no amount of research is going to change that.
