Resolution For moniters

According to these guys, as of a year ago, 85% of people browsing the internet are using monitors with resolutions higher than 1024x768.  These higher resolutions are most likely 1280x1024, and widescreen variations such as 1600x900 or 1680x1050.
 
So if you're really asking “Is my monitor too small,” as an artist, the answer is probably Yes.  I would recommend picking up something in a higher resolution.  You could either replace your current monitor, or use them in tandem as a dual display if your video card permits it.  I've found the dual monitor setup to be incredibly valuable when doing art tasks.

I posted in the wrong one again, my bad.
No, i have a 21' dell moniter. I use 1024x768 resolution. When i took a look at a much smaller moniter my work looked sqeezed.

Sorry redto, when deleting many spam posts I accidently deleted your first post in this thread as well.
 
A good decent size is around 740 to 1000 pixels wide, at 72dpi. And as high as you like because vertical scroll is no issue.
