Finished my last bit and emailed it to her Imperial Majesty. The three pages of script turned into seven comic pages. Next year people, please step forward and do pagesit certainly is not fair that some talentless cretin hogs the middle of the script and will force the readership down into negative digits with seven tiresome pages of truly horrid art.

You're gonna wish you'd shang-haied your six year old nephew into scribbling something in crayon or gotten your mom to draw those marvelous stick figures of hers that populate her doodle pad when she talks on the phone to cousin Eleanor for hours on end.

As far as pages, there's a slight delay with page one, and there are a few artists that still need some more time. But more than half of the pages have been received and They Are MAGNIFICENT!!

The notification process has begun. I've sent out emails to contenders who actually won two roles to see which they want, and to make sure they'll still send in a full role's recording pretty quickly. I need to hear back before rolling ahead.

In other frustrating news - page 1 has been yet another victim of a mis-selected key of the keyboard - but hopefully the delay won' t be too long.
And if that weren't enough, I just about wore myself out trying to scoop out some granite-hard ice cream. In 90temps (WTH! It's APRIL!), ice cream is the only reasonable response.

On the sunnier side, I've either heard or (better) ceived from all artists now, except for one - so YAY!!

Already sent in my full recording. And I had a lot of lines! So no excuses for you other voice talents! :P

Well, it took less than a week, but all of the contenders should know the status of the roles – if they've checked their email in the last 5 mins.

I'm SO close to finishing my pages! I'm rather happy now that I only got one instead of two! I should be finished tonight or tomorrow at the latest. Its awesome to see the first comic pages being uploaded already!
Also, I'm so not good at guessing voices, I cant even remember what the voices sounded like last year 0_o Can't wait to see who won though.

Seriously, all the voice acting was splendid - although I think the recording quality of some may have been a deficit. And although I'm delighted to see the return of four voice talents from last year's play, I'm really happy to see six new talents win roles from last year.

Many sincere thanks to all who sent in recordings! Hope you'll all give a listen when the play is finished. In the mean time, check out the DD 2012 Radio Play Comic.

You have long stretches of voice over so there's lots to flub. I struggled very hard to mess up repeating a single word over and over again. :D

my flubs were mostly me being too close to the mic when i would scream a line in Peter Lorre Angry/Insane mode…wish i wouldn've filmed myself doing the recording, though- my contortions and facials as I tried to get into the part may have provided a couple chuckles for someone…

I didn't have many lines but I sure did have my share of flubs.
