My recent guest friday newspost inspired me, so I decided to take a stroll in my backyard ;)

KL- That is your backyard? You must live a glorious life so close to nature. Natural waterfalls are seriously a gift.

Now that is a backyard. And with a waterfall you really don't have to worry about cutting the grass.

lol I hate to say it's not my literal backyard, although it's not all that far away either. It's my figurative backyard… ;) These falls are in a nearby forest, and almost noone knows about it! I do have woodlands, great for walking, behind my house though!

KL: all I have in my backyard is a tree and noisy neighbors…

At the moment my backyard is full of nasty bees all drunk on pollen.

I mis read this to say nasty people drunk on bees. But I guess equally as annoying.

My figurative backyard pales in comparison too KL, although we do have a medieval manor house once owned by Henry VIII with a moat around it. Pretty tame though, but the ducks love it.

I grew up around here. I couldn't believe it the first time I went abroad and everything wasn't green!

I'm gonna join in! I know this is a 2015 thread, but this picture was taken from Warrior Dash of 2014. I'd like to have one from 2015, but there was no Warrior Dash in my state this year last I checked. I had tons of fun in this obstacle course and am proud of myself for getting through it without losing my shoes.

Looking glam while coated in mud is a talant not many can mange.

I saw that!! (as soon as I saw your pic I googled the event and watched several videos of it - whimpered with envy, but while I'm a great hiker, I'm probably not in quite the shape needed for this thing lol)

I was really nervous about it at first, but it actually wasn't so bad. I wasn't very fit at the time, and still am not. My friend and I walked the majority of it (partly because I had a really bad stitch in my side). If you're looking for an even bigger challenge, check out the Spartan Race. It has a penalty of 30 burpees for not completing and obstacle.
