When I became homeless, I fell back on my years of military experience. I got rid of everything that was not of immediate use on the first step out the door, everything I owned was on my back. I have seen so many people on the road trying to hold on to stuff that is just an anchor to their past, but of absolutely no use to them on the road. BTW, medicated hemorrhoid wipes (i.e. baby wipes) are what we used in Desert Storm to keep clean betweem showers.
