so the only thing that's published for a while is stuff already finished.. just feeling week and tired… now… but got a few days work… so can't not take the work when I can get it… I'll be ok I'm rather tuff… and hard to kill…& I can't die unless its funny…
Medicin problems.. damn. i really wish there were free clincs where you live. it also sounds like you are extra careful with your health. i hope for the best for you.
If you can let me know which human cold/flu medicine you'd like the most, I can send you a big box of it tonight or tomorrow. Chronic illnesses are the worst. :/
Sending a box tonight with: extra strength Tylenol, coated Bayer aspirin, two boxes of maximum strength cold/flu medicine (48 caplets), Halls cough drops, and 200 one-a-day women's vitamins. She has a chronic cough, so she'd probably appreciate extra cough medicine (money is always good too).
Also, my mother hen coworker who cares about you chipped in $20, so if there's anything else you need to get through this, please let me know here or in email.
Ick... Yeah, being sick while homeless sucks.
I once got a great job - temp-to-perm office job. They loved me, as I was a good, efficient worker... then the next day, I had to go 'home' sick. Worst case of flu I have ever had. Fever, chills, aches, shakes. Lasted a week, and was pretty certain I was going to die. But the worst was realizing I had just lost an opportunity to get out of living on the streets.
Reminder folks: always get a flu shot. Actual flu - not just a bad cold - is a serious medical condition, and can kill you. Even if it doesn't, a week out sick will not help.
The money is probably the most important thing so that she can get to the clinic sooner rather than later and maybe prevent her from getting something really dangerous like pneumonia.
