Okay, I know some people are tired of zombies. But listen! Once you get past the basic zombie stories, you get to the more INTERESTING zombie stories - the twists on the theme, the exploration of characters and worlds, and the satisfying inevitability of everything going wrong. Dead Future is reminiscent of World War Z, where individual stories begin to tell a whole. The first two are cracking! Photomanipulation in the first story gives it a great visual feel, creepy and dark and a lot of environmental depth. The second has different but equally good hand-drawn art. The creators have gone out of their way to give this comic an edge on the zombie genre!
